Me and my husband had just left BEST BUY and came into Target Optical looking for a pair of the Ray Ban Gen 1 glasses for my grandsons birthday. We were greeted by Gilbert Blazek. He was such a breath of fresh air. We had been so frustrated at the other store. Gilbert not only answered all of our questions, but he was probably the kindest person we have dealt with in a public setting in forever. He was also very knowledgeable about the glasses we wanted to purchase. They didn’t have the Gen 1 glasses in the store, but he offered to order them for us. We ended up purchasing the upgraded version (Ray Ban Meta Gen 2) along with extra lenses and the warranty that Gilbert offered. He didn’t try to pressure us or upsell us. He was just a kind knowledgeable soul at a time when we really needed it. Because of that experience, me and my husband will both be switching over and making our eye appointments with Target Optical looking. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, however I also don’t usually get such amazing service from a single individual like we did today. And we could tell that it came from a genuine place. Like this is the way Gilbert always treats everyone. Needless to say, me and my husband are very pleased and almost $450 later, my grandson will be too LOL! He definitely deserves our recognition. Thank you so much Gilbert! You are appreciated more than you know and your kindness doesn’t go unnoticed. IT MATTERS. 😊
