I had a wonderful experience at Texas Eye Doctors and highly recommend Dr. Soha Rafi. From the moment I walked in, the front office staff was welcoming and friendly. The medical team conducted a highly thorough and comprehensive eye exam, making me feel comfortable throughout the entire process.Dr. Rafi herself is outstanding. She is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and has excellent bedside manners. It is very clear that she genuinely enjoys treating her patients well. I found her to be deeply compassionate and dedicated to providing top-tier care. If you are looking for an exceptional ophthalmologist, Dr. Rafi is the best!

My son is autistic, and I informed the staff of his disability before his exam. During the vision testing, he was instructed to press his head against the machine while following multiple directions at the same time. The medical assistant—a tall, slim woman with dark hair—was very rude, impatient, and appeared frustrated with him. She stopped the exam midway and told my son, as if he were an adult, that if he did not cooperate and follow instructions, he would not be allowed to see the doctor. This was completely inappropriate, especially considering she had been informed of his disability beforehand. Ultimately, the doctor had to step in and complete the vision testing because she was unable to properly perform the exam. The doctor was professional, patient, and understanding, and I greatly appreciated her efforts. However, the office staff is clearly not adequately trained to work with children or individuals with special needs. Families with disabilities deserve compassionate, patient, and properly trained staff. This type of behavior is unacceptable and should be addressed to prevent other children from having a similar experience.
I have been to three or four different doctors to get this taken care of. She is in the process of doing it. My wife will be going to her and my kids will be going to her very happy with the service. We also own a business Bath Masters of Collin County and I understand how important reviews can be.
Dr. Khaja was great. She educated well and we made a plan to address my concerns. The testing seemed thorough and efficient. I would rate a 5, but it is hard to do that after only one visit. Also, it was a rough drive home after all the different eye drops, even with my sunglasses, and the sensitivity lasted a few hours.
New insurance brings the search for new providers, and I am happy I found Texas Eye Doctors,. There’s construction going on, but it was easy to find. All the staff I met were pleasant and professional. The tests were the same as performed by my previous optometrist. I am looking forward to staying with this practice.
