I came in to have an outpatient surgical procedure about five days ago. From the time I was processed through admissions to discharge, it was a great experience. I would like to add a special thanks to my admissions, Nurse, Kansas. She was super compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional before my surgical procedure. I wish I could remember the rest of the staff that I encountered. However, I can’t. I can say that everybody treated me with dignity and respect. I highly recommend Texas health resource Southwest for your next Hospital stay.

My grandson was taken to SW ED with severe chest pain. Everyone from the nurses to the Dr's were amazing. I'm sorry I did not get everyone's name. The test results were a bit complicated and my grandson ended up at the Cath Lab for a procedure. Dr Steve Simpson Cardiologist performed Ethan's procedure. Explaining what his concerns were. Ethan was admitted and Dr Simpson remained his doctor. He was thorough and kind even assisting Ethan with an affordable medication option. Jordy Denson from ICU was called down to the ED. He was kind, knowledgeable and professional as usual. He explained the issues with the test and remained with Ethan during his procedure coming out to explain what was happening to me. During this scary time it was great to have familiar faces. The nurses on the 3rd floor were kind and professional answering any questions I had. We couldn't ask for a better experience. Thank you! We appreciate all who cared for him.
After a traumatic accident, I was admitted to the hospital and spent four and a half days under the care of the Trauma Unit in the Justin Tower. Throughout my stay, every member of the team—including the physicians, anesthesiology staff, nurses providing around-the-clock care, patient care technicians, and those who delivered my meals—treated me with professionalism, compassion, and genuine respect. I was cared for not only as a patient, but also as a person going through a difficult and frightening experience. I still have a long road ahead before I am fully healed, but this remarkable team has helped place me on the best possible path toward recovery. I am deeply grateful for the skill, patience, kindness, and encouragement shown to me during my time in their care. I tried to let everyone now how thankful I was when I was there. Thank you again to everyone who played a part in helping me begin this healing process.
The medical care was top notch. Staff from maintenance to doctors were polite, helpful, caring and provided excellent care. The food however has taken a nosedive from my last stay at Harris. The ordering process was cumbersome and took over an hour from ordering to delivery. The food choices have been cut back and the quality of the food is not as good as it was.
I had to take my husband to the ER. The ER staff was amazing, but the neurologist was terrible. Dr. Mohamed Summakia was very dismissive and wouldn't even listen to us about the symptoms my husband has been experiencing. He also talked poorly of our doctor which I found very unprofessional. I shared my concerns with the ER staff, but told them I didn't want this doctor anywhere near my husband and his care. He was so cold, dismissive and rude and refused to listen to our concerns. What he tried to say my husband was experiencing is totally off and not correct. His lack of ability to listen and be totally dismissive to women I found totally unprofessional. He continued to speak over me and my daughter and refused to listen to what we had to say and our concerns. He refused to answer our questions. He is very rude and arrogant to say the least. I am grateful for the ER staff, as they were all so great but I very disappointed with the neurologist and would never recommend him to anyone.
