‼️DO NOT GET YOUR EYEGLASSES PRESCRIPTION at The EYE GALLERY‼️Recently, the coatings warps even if you do not leave them in car. I have been a loyal customer of the Eye Gallery for over 40 years, consistently satisfied with their services, except for an issue with my eyeglass prescription from November 2022. Despite expecting an adjustment period, the blurred vision when I try to use the glasses didn’t improve, resulting in a waste of $252, excluding the cost of the Tory Burch frame purchased separately. Recently, on July 6, 2026, I returned to the Eye Gallery to investigate potential prescription errors/defects. During my consultation with Jerrilynn, she asked me what was wrong with the glasses; I told her that it was blurry from day one(GOD honestly truth). Her response was, “If it was blurry then, then it would be worse now”. WOW‼️ Is that how you answer a customer? I am at fault for not going back right away; however, I felt that I would get used to it. Unfortunately, it didn’t, and I just didn’t use them at all. Recently, I feel the need to use eyeglasses while driving at night, and I decided to give it a try, but it’s the same. The lenses’ non-glare/blue light feature has been defective from the beginning.I didn’t notice that was the problem until she showed me the lenses from a distance. Unfortunately, Jerrilynn's customer service was lacking, as she was brusque and didn't offer any solutions or alternatives to rectify the issue, which I believe is an essential part of customer service. The original owner, Brian Nakano was outstanding and always made me feel welcome. Over the years, I recall once, I asked Brian if he could fix the scratch on my Gucci prescription sunglasses (I paid extended warranty most of my Rx eyeglasses) and he sent my eyeglasses back to the lab. My latest 2 PRADA Rx sunglasses I paid over $600 each after my vision insurance have defects. They’re blurry, looks like the anti-glare films are starting to warp. I do not leave my sunglasses in the car. I truly believe that it is a manufactory defects and they should look into it instead of stating that there’s nothing they can do. Leanne stated that once it is paid in full the warranty is voided…. WHAAAAAAT? Before I can pick it it up, it has to be paid in full. Why did I pay for an extended warranty if it is voided once it is paid in full? That is not how Brian explained to me over the years. I had many Rx eyeglasses I purchased at the Eye Gallery over the years and they are still good, I am still using them. The film coating is the problem with the most recent pairs I purchased. If I am the business owner(s), I would reach out to the lab and inquire. It happened to people I know that purchased their Rx eyeglasses at the Eye Gallery as well.

Alex changed out the nose pads on my sunglasses and adjusted them for me. He was super helpful and friendly. Excellent customer service! If you are in Maui you need to check out The Eye Gallery and ask for Alex.
I have been coming to the Eye Gallery for over 5 years. Dr. Van takes excellent care of my eyes and the optician part of her practice has a huge selection of glasses brands. I am a hard patient to fit and the opticians there take their time in making sure my glasses fit correctly. They carry an assortment of different styles from Lindberg, Raen, Tom Ford, Oliver Peoples to Maui Jim. I am very happy with the service I receive!
Im vacation vacationing in Maui And my glasses broke I came in and they fixed it in five minutes and wouldn’t let me pay them. They are so friendly. If you have any glasses needs I would really recommend you go to the what a great store.
Great job. We were here to fix my wife’s glasses and they were excellent staff. Everyone was very cordial. I highly recommend anyone with an issue to go to their location.
