The Eyecare Center

Worst customer service of any business I have delt with. We (my wife and I) paid for glasses, were told it would take 2 weeks, 3 weeks later my wife was told to stop calling about the glasses even though we had already paid for them. When I called they kept saying that the glasses “are on their way” or “please don’t cancel your order”. 2 months later the glasses finally came, and they were broke. The frames were broken and the lenses didn’t even fit in the frame, but it “passed” Eyecare Center’s QC test…… WHAT!?! Then when we went to the WVU Eye Institute, they told us that Eyecare Center never canceled the request for payment from our insurance and it had been 2 weeks since we returned the broken glasses.

I had a wonderful experience at The Eyecare Center in the Morgantown Mall. Ian, the optician, is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions about lenses for my needs. He was patient, friendly, and never made me feel rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and wants them to be happy with their vision and eyewear. Everyone at the office was welcoming and professional, and the level of customer service was outstanding. I also appreciate that The Eyecare Center is locally owned and has been serving the community since 1997. It’s refreshing to find a place where you feel valued and receive such personalized care. I highly recommend The Eyecare Center at the Morgantown Mall to anyone looking for excellent eye care and a great experience!

Im very picky when it comes to getting glasses. I have worn them since I was young. Its something your wearing on your face for a long time and it exspensive. So I take my time and really want to be happy with the frames I choose. Some eye glass places want to hurry you and rush out. I was treated so well, and never rushed at the Eyecare Center. They were so nice, helpful. My glasses came in quicker than I thought. I had to have my glasses adjusted and they took time for all my eyecare needs They have alot to choose from as well. I would highly reccomend the Eyecare Center.

Scheduled an appointment online, an associate called me that same day to confirm insurance and appointment details. The day of appointment, I told the associate I haven't been to that particular eye center in 15+ years, they still had records on file since then! They appointment itself was quick, the doctor explained eye problems/solutions in detail and made me feel comfortable and acknowledged. The doctor asked detailed questions to specify what type of glasses/contacts were needed in my situation. Purchasing glasses was a smooth process as well. The eye doctor brought over my prescription, explained my insurance benefits, etc. The associate at the eyeglass center explained and assisted me with the cutest glasses! Always loved going to this place when I was high school, and definitely loved the customer service. 100% recommend !!
