Torrington Eyecare

I’ve been a patient at Torrington Eyecare since they first opened. Dr. Sirignano and his staff have always been courteous and professional, and consistently demonstrate that they value me as a patient. At the end of each visit, I leave their office knowing that I received a thorough exam from genuine eye care experts who make my wellbeing their top priority.

Doctor Sirignano was excellent, gave me the most through eye exam I have ever had in my life, he was patient and explained everything as he uncovered the issues with my eyesight that previous doctors had missed. The staff was friendly and very professional. A very good practice I would recommend to everyone.

Always certain getting the best medical and personal attention. Dr S is excellent with older eyes. Gina and Brooke are extremely competent and a joy to work with. Reception is patient and works hard to explain and obtain required information. I highly recommend Torrington Eyecare.

Came in for my 4 month checkup. Check in was easy, just a couple of forms that needed updating, and co-payment. After a couple of minutes, I was brought in for my checkup by Brook. As always, she explained what was going to be done, and I started on the 3 machine sequence. We chatted like a couple of old friends as we worked through the tests. She is so easy to talk to, as well as very professional. Then came the vision exam. She was very patient as I read the chart with first one eye then the other, never judging if I got a letter wrong. The visual exam by Dr. Sirignano was equally friendly and professional as he adjusted various lenses to find the right prescription I needed, patiently listening to my responses of better or worse as the lenses were adjusted, and he listened carefully as I described any vision problems I was having. We discussed several things that might be causing some problems, as well as the possibility of cataract surgery. His mannerism was not cold and clinical, but actually listening, and caring about my concerns and trepidations. After he answered all my questions, we talked about any plans we might have for the summer, not as doctor/patient, but as a couple of friends would talk about their plans. While providing a very professional level of service, the personnel at this office maintain a very personal level of care also, which is not very common in today's time-driven medical system. As such, I strongly recommend this practice. Sorry if this review is long, I simply wanted to be accurate.

Being diabetic it is necessary for me to have a thorough yearly eye exam. Torrington Eyecare is a full-service optometry/ophthalmology office and was a solid choice for me. Dr Sirignano and his staff are professional and well educated about my disease. They use state of the art equipment for my screenings. His office staff cordially assisted with my insurance. I would highly recommend scheduling an appointment with them if you are diabetic like me. Don’t take your eyesight for granted !
