They over charged me and tried to make me pay for stuff I didn’t even need or ask for. Then when I try to get my money back no one gets in a hurry to give me my money back. It’s all alright when you’re not the one struggling right??? How hard is it to refund 68 dollars I mean come on. The lady that ordered my glasses didn’t even really go over anything with me . It was at the end of the day on a Thursday it just seemed like they wanted to rush me out that’s literally how I felt that day. Normally I wouldn’t say anything I’d just keep it to myself but it’s frustrating when your check is short one week and it takes half of it just to go see a dr and you have children at home to feed.

The staff at this Total Eye Care are unhelpful and rude. I called to order a replacement pair of glasses for my son one day last week. I wanted the same exact pair he already had. They tried to offer me a purple pair. When I said that was not going to work, I was transferred to the optometrist who was basically yelling on the phone that they would have to order them and it would be $130. I said I would call them back, not wanting to deal with rude individuals that particular day. Two days go by and I call back to order the replacement pair of glasses. This time the total amount changed to a drastically lower price. Almost $100 less. Should have known then something wasn’t right. However, I paid and I thought the replacement glasses were ordered. They acted like they were doing me a favor by changing the price. Pick them up today and it’s just the frame. No one ever mentioned just needing the frame. We needed a whole replacement pair of glasses. Then to act like we are in the wrong because they ordered it wrong. Unprofessional. Don’t rely on them to get anything right when ordering replacement glasses and don’t expect good customer service either. Swapping to Cagle Eye Center for sure!
I just went in for an eye exam and got charged for some test I didn’t know they had done. They didn’t even ask if I wanted it done I was very shocked when I went to pay. I will say the doctor was good but don’t like their practice on how they do things they should let their patients decide if they want to do the test or not
The staff and Dr. Hatfield are so nice. They explain each step of the exam and really take time to make sure the patient understands the results of each. You leave this office understanding the status of your visual health.
