I have been happy with the care provided by Tuscaloosa Eye Care after my cataract surgery. The doctors are professional and courteous. The staff has been accommodating and efficient. Shanna H. took time to explain what she was evaluating and maintained a friendly conversation throughout my time with her. She was knowledgeable and she made me feel relaxed and comfortable at every step. Thank you for such great service, Tuscaloosa Eye Care.

My husband and I both went for our eye appointment. He is nervous about anything getting close to his eyes. The tech named Jayla was great. She is knowledgeable, efficient, and quick.

I had a great experience today. Shanna was the girl who helped me today. She is extremely nice and has a great smile. From now on the is the only person I want. The lady at the front desk and the lady when I paid when were very nice and very helpful. I look forward to coming back after eye surgery to get my glasses.

Tuscaloosa eyecare deserves negative 10 stars if that was an option. I have been a patient here for 10 + years and I am not coming back. I wouldn’t allow them to treat my dog nor do I recommend this place to anyone. I’m absolutely livid after my experience here today. They sent me a text on July 7 to call and confirm my appointment with them prior to my visit on July 28 or it would be cancelled. I did not see this text and they have not attempted to contact me since then. Isn’t it the providers responsibility to confirm an appointment? Why would an office send an appointment reminder text almost a month prior to the appointment threatening to cancel it? I drove over 30 minutes and took off work to make this appointment. I attempted to call the office multiple times (yesterday and this morning) prior to my visit to confirm my appointment since I did not see this text that was sent ALMOST A MONTH AGO. Of course, they didn’t answer the phone. They never do. I arrived on time for my appointment today and the office staff rudely informed me that they cancelled my appointment (without notifying me) and that I would not be seen today. This is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional business. Obviously they do not need my business so don’t give them yours either!

Recently had eye exams for my daughter and myself, and we both received professional, exceptional service. All treating staff made my daughter (9) comfortable by explaining exactly what they were going to do before each part of the exam, and remained patient when she was still nervous and reluctant to get the eye drops. Dr. Landreth explained everything thoroughly, and conveyed a greater sense of knowledge about eye health and its relation to overall physical health than I’d ever experienced in my 30+ years of seeing eye doctors.
