My father in NY recommended VisionWorks to us. Our insurance does not cover services or eye glasses in Florida where we are. We pay out of pocket. Regardless, we are very pleased with the doctor affiliated with VisionWorks, the large variety and selection offered, and the wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. We will continue to use VisionWorks and recommend them highly.
I just had cataract surgery and wanted to buy some good quality polarized sunglasses. I was looking at the Maui Jim Honi and the sales gal told me that they were 25% off! That was a way better deal than Collins Vision that only gave a $25. Off. So I got them for under $200 compared to $289!
Everything was explained to us about our insurance and the different types of lenses that we could get. Associate was very knowledgeable and took her time with us! Would recommend highly!
Nice store. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Clear explanation of current savings options - 50% off 2nd pair, etc…. 100 day free exchange policy. Left me alone so I could take my time comparing different frames. My new glasses were ready in 7 days. Perfect!
After purchasing an ill-fitting frame from Visionworks which caused injury to my face, i requested my new lenses be transferred into a more comfortable frame which i already owned. This request was refused, in a very brusque, disinterested and unhelpful manner. I called the corporate office with my complaint, and they too were extremely unhelpful. I do not recommend Visionworks at all. I certainly will never go back. I subsequently went to Tyson Eye, who fulfilled my request courteously and efficiently, with no problem whatsoever. The difference in service and attitude was striking.
