An absolute horror of experiences. You have to opt out of them calling you and texting and emailing all day everyday for the appointment time in their system to be a different time that they gave you on paper. Every time I go in they ask for the same information that I’ve gone on a day where I didn’t have any appointments at all for them to scan it all. They still don’t have that updated apparently. The dental area is a whole mess themselves their communication is worse than an automated voice message you can’t hear. They sat me in for a whole hour saying there were going to take me in sooner just for it to be the scheduled time. The location is a great place to put it at but they need better people to help them direct the front areas I don’t think they know anything they’re are doing there.

visited this clinic yesterday and left feeling very disappointed. The wait time was extremely long with little to no communication from the front desk, which made the experience frustrating from the start. When I was finally seen, the staff came across as dismissive and inattentive. I did not feel heard or cared for, which is especially concerning in a healthcare setting where patients come in vulnerable and seeking help. I understand that clinics are busy and understaffed, but professionalism and basic kindness should not disappear because of that. I hope management takes patient experience seriously and works on improving communication, attentiveness, and overall care.

Dr. Lee is a horrible doctor I genuinely do not recommend going here or at least to her specifically. She consistently downplays your symptoms and pain. There are some people who shouldn’t be in the health field and she is definitely one of them, a huge lack of compassion and concern for your well being, time, or energy. Every-time you ask her a question she has a “oh my God what now” look on her face of complete exhaustion and dread. To avoid answering questions or to just get you out of the patient room faster every question you have is another appointment or she’ll refuse to go through a different topic with you unless you set a separate appointment. Please for your sake and the sake of your health don’t go here or to her unless you want to be treated months later when she finally gets back to you.

This review is for the optometrist side. I haven't been to a doctor since I was a kid, let alone an eye doctor. So I didn't know what to expect or what to ask for or how to act. But everything went well. I would call United health center and tell them to refer me to the optometrist in minnewawa and waited 5-15 minutes. One of the ladies there is really nice and patient and answered all my questions. I would book my appointment quick and easy. I think when it comes to the receptionist, the eye nurses/doctors and assistants, everyone is nice. They're understanding, patient, and informative. But when it comes to the doctor that can perform surgeries, like dr maxwell, you have to be really firm and 100% certain or else u will waste ur time. He wasn't very informative or patient like dr Martinez and was quick to just let me go and didn't seem to care what I had to say. Of course everyone's case is different but in my case I knew what I had and dr martinez confirmed what I had. And I had a large chalazion that would not go away with warm compressions 3 times a day and eyelid massages, even after 4 months of doing it. And even after 8 months, I still don't know why it wouldn't go away. The first time I went, it was just a short eye exam. Everything went well and Martinez said my chalazion was big and informed me what a chalazion is and what probably happened. Which I appreciate a lot for teaching me. He stayed with me until I felt comfortable enough to leave with no questions unanswered. I stayed and he asked me what am I thinking about and whats bothering me and I just told him I had another one growing. To me, that is an amazing doctor and all I could ask for. But when it came to Maxwell it was the opposite. He said my chalazion was little, when it's the size of my whole eyelid and it's weighting down my eyelid. Maxwell is a great surgeon. He is serious, patient, and understanding when it comes to surgeries. My surgery was painless (except the needle part of course) and smooth with no problems thanks to him. But when he's not doing surgeries, he lacks patiencs, gives you short answers, and doesn't listen. I'm not a doctor and dealing with patients can be stressful but I think you should take everything a patient says into consideration just in case the little things add up. Other than that, everything was great. The receptionist, the nurses and doctors were great and helpful. But this is just for the optometrist and a chalazion eye bump experience that warm compressions and eyelid massages wouldn't work.

Im a young adult, and this was my first time visiting this clinic and first time attending a medical appointment without a guardian. The staff was super friendly and understanding, and Dr. Lee was amazingly kind yet professional!
