I have taken my daughter here twice now. We were referred by her pediatrician. First visit, she was just over 1 year old. Second visit was supposed to be a follow up and is now 14 months old. First visit: we had to wait 1 & 1/2 hours for the only pediatric doctor to see us. Again, my daughter is 1. Once she did see us, she wore ear plugs which I could understand. Kids can be loud. She was upset that my daughter was crying throughout the appt. She made multiple comments about how she should not be crying because she wasn’t hurting her. I never once questioned if she was hurting her. I know it was merely because she was scared. After the exam, she rudely dismissed my mother in law and daughter to the waiting room because she was crying too loud. What child isn’t going to be upset when having their pupils dilated and their eyes examined? Second visit: they had to move my appt up 50 mins due to the dr needing to leave by 5. Completely understandable. I had no issue with that. The issue that I did have, was waiting 1 whole hour for a follow up appt. I politely told the staff that we had been waiting 1 hour and would be leaving. They then asked if I would like to reschedule. Why would I want to do that? I would not recommend this pediatric eye doctor to any one with children. She may do well with a certain age but she definitely does not do well with toddlers.

Went for a cataract procedure today, I arrived few minutes early, check in was easy and then I waited and waited , half an hour went by and nothing was said aside from the typically annoying statement usually made by clinic receptionists and nurses : you will be called in shortly . In my dictionary shortly means few minutes but that doesn't seem to be the meaning in this center .After half an hour I went to see how much longer do I have to wait so the receptionist went and asked the nurse the answer came shockingly : 45 more minutes , the fact that i was not given an update on my procedure speaks volumes of the lack of respect this center has towards it’s patients !! I have no guarantee that this additional 45 minutes will not expand into another 45 minutes or longer so I decided to cut my loses and leave!!! The question I have is simple: why cannot the medical team have the courage , the etiquette, the courtesy and the professionalism of telling their patients of delays. The common theme that an emergency or a complication has taken place happens so often that we have to question its validity and if it does happen so often why isn’t there a protocol to address it
I have taken my son here twice now. Both times have been terrible experiences. Dr. Seager should NOT be advertised as a pediatric anything! She has no patience with toddlers, terrible bedside manners, and is downright rude. She made comments that I felt like eluded to the way I parent because of how my child was acting. (Crying and scared!) She also told him there's no reason to be crying! The last time we were there she also questioned whether he was a boy or girl because his hair is long and made the comment "it's so hard to tell these days". Also, when the nurse came in with Dr. Seager, the nurse made the comment "oh, it's this one".......as if they didnt want to deal with him. This is an absolutely awful place. There are zero good things to say about it. The wait is long, the staff is rude and the only thing the caters to children is turning the TV on a kid's show. It's sad this is the only close option for our children. They deserve better than this from someone providing care for them.
My son had a wonderful experience with Dr.S she was EXELLENT but I have called this office 8 times so far to reschedule and left a message everytime and still haven't gotten an answer, a call back, or a new appointment date I have 1 week left till this appointment and just going to look for new care.
