Half of these reviews are not even for the right place. Valley Health is different than Valley Center For Vision. Legit two different places. Not affiliated at all. Another review was mad about not taking Medicaid for adults over 21. That is Medicaid’s rule for vision. They only cover up until 21. Valley Health has a sliding scale and can bill medically. Valley Vision is straight vision. Which is explained when your asked what vision insurance you have. This place has been a staple to the community for years. Hate to see some of these reviews below that are 1 star, and not even accurate at all. Please do your research before adding reviews to places. If you need glasses go in and see Steve. He’s wonderful to talk to and will help anyone out as much as possible. If you want a family owned business that builds relationships and actually cares about you, you’ve went to the right place. Valley vision is on 5th ave and The optical is open Monday through Friday! Can’t give enough stars.

If I could give no stars I would they literally got my eye glasses completely wrong they put my right lens in my left and my left in my right and had to take the glasses to a completely different place to figure it out my head killed me for days trying to wear them 🙃 i called and they told me that what i was experiencing was normal but iv worn glasses my whole life and never experienced that before but it wasn't normal they messed up I will never go back too valley center for vision
I had a great experience here 2 years ago at my initial appointment, but after calling to schedule an eye exam and being told the doctor was retiring at the end of the month (which is fine), they could not email or send me my records, or even verify what my prescription strength was over the phone to pass onto a new provider. I have no way of picking up the records currently and am not going that far out of my way if there's no appointment to attend to. It would be nice to have something to give my new providers, but I guess I will have to start over from scratch. I have NEVER had an issue obtaining medical records sent over from any other medical facilities, so I am stunned they were not willing to assist me further as an existing patient.
The doctor himself is amazing. I wanted to transfer my prescription there, and few people would do it with my coverage. I did not expect much, but the doctor still reexamined my eyes completely, then gave me a prescription for the contacts I needed due to the pressure I have in my nose. I was very pleased. I would recommend this doctor highly. I only had an eye exam though, so I do not know how other services are.
Wonderful customer service and care. Experienced and thorough exam with minimum down time, very professional. Frames and fitting was flawless. Thank you very much for the best pair of glasses I've ever owned.
