I saw him twice 5 years ago and 2 weeks ago. The reception lady was very pleasant. Dr. Vandermeer is absolutely A nice guy. He enjoys working with people to help them see. The price was excellent. ( not going to get into that) He treats you like your family. And he doesn't accept medicaid . But his cash price is low.. He knows about hard times.. If you need glasses or just a eye exam, i promise you be as happy with the service as i am...

I have worn glasses since I was 8 and contacts since I was 13. I have been to numerous eye doctors throughout the area and I can honestly say that Dr. Vandermeer is the best eye doctor I have ever been to. They are quick and everyone is super nice. He doesn't touch your eyes unless he let's you know first and he also doesn't insist on putting in/taking out your contacts like other places, he let's you do it yourself.

Highly Impressed I am from the Pittsburgh area and this is the first doctor in the area that I have felt comfortable with very Knowledgeable, kind affordable. Nice to know there are good doctors left in the world

I love going to his office. His staff is super friendly and he always makes sure you leave with no questions!!! I highly recommend his office to anyone looking for a new eye doctor because he is amazing!!!
