My family is a regular customer and we have always been very pleased with the attention and service. I am additionally thankful because last Friday they accommodate me a for an urgent visit due to eye inflammation. I received a thorough exam and recommendations. Everything is getting better now. I feel we are in good hands and that this people care for their patients
Friday night, my toddler accidentally scratched my eye (not a fun experience). By Saturday morning, I knew I needed to get it checked out—but finding an eye doctor with weekend hours isn’t easy, especially when you don’t already have a regular provider. I found Metuchen Vision through an AI search, and I’m so glad I did. They were nearby, open on Saturdays, and incredibly accommodating—they squeezed me into their schedule on short notice. I expected a long wait, but they actually saw me pretty quickly. The doctor was patient, understanding, and reassuring—especially with all my flinching. That kind of bedside manner makes such a difference. Too often, medical visits feel rushed or impersonal, which can make people avoid going altogether. This was the complete opposite. They also made time for a follow-up appointment a few days later to make sure everything was healing properly, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend, whether you need urgent care or just a regular eye exam. It’s great to have this level of care right here in Metuchen.
10/10 experience at Metuchen Vision!!! Staff was extremely friendly and efficient from the moment I walked in. Actually, my positive experience began when I called on the phone first to verify appt availability and confirm insurance. My appt with Dr. Abreu was super thorough and informative. She is incredibly professional, kind, and has amazing bedside manner. She answered all my questions and concerns, recommended appropriate products and provided some samples. As someone who works in healthcare as well, I couldnt recommend this place more. So happy with my experience here and looking forward to continuing my care here 🤗♥️
You are greeted by a young lady named Kiara and her colleague when you walk in they make you feel welcomed. I most say the Doctors along with the staff are super friendly and helpful. Service is 10 out of 10. I love my new pair of glasses. I recommend them because I didn’t feel pressured or rushed and the ambiance is calm ,they treated me like family. ☺️ This place checked all the boxes for me will be going back for sure! I love Metuchen Vision.
