Do not use Dr. Nelson. My mother usually sees Dr. Ward, who is great. She was not able to see him, so made an appointment with Dr. Nelson. Preformed a pressure test. The test results were high. She should have been referred to an Ophthalmologist, but was left undiagnosed. She is now blind in one eye, and they are trying to save the other. This could have been prevented it Dr. Nelson had analyzed the test results of which were preformed at the appointment.

Very accommodating on needing to change my appointment. Friendly front desk staff & Nurse staff. Dr Nelson is new to the practice and SO KNOWLEDGEABLE! Very happy we selected this office for our family. She answered every question I had, didn't feel rushed at all. Very much appreciated for the Doctor to take the time to explain things, hard to find sometimes. HIGHLY recommend this practice.

The Doctors here are amazing but Janie is rude! She is curt and cold in person and on the phone. Most everyone else there is very warm and approachable. She is just not nice in the way she says things. She makes me feel unwelcome. And certainly it isn't just once that is has happened. When I went in there in February with one of my sons, she was unfriendly and unwelcoming and I thought maybe she was just having a bad day.... but when I was trying to schedule an appointment for my other son an hour later I got the same attitude. Just a whole lot of "we can't do that" or "we don't have any appointments then" or "we are completely booked". what ever happened to "let me see what I can find for you" or "absolutely, let's get him on the schedule...with a smile". If you call there, ask to speak to anyone but her and you should be fine!

Dr. Hill has been my trusted optometrist for many years. I always receive a thorough exam using the most up to date equipment. Bixby Vision staff go above normal care to make sure your needs are met. You never feel rushed, and all questions and concerns are addressed.

Went to get new glasses. Eye exam was ok but that is where is fell apart. Picked my frames and lenses. After the lenses came in from the lab, I tried them in the office and they were unusable. I could not see clearly at all. I was told I HAD to use them for a week before they could do anything. So I tried them and still unusable. Went back to see what my next option was. Redid the exam and they realized some things were not correct. They called their lab and advised they would call me back. I never received a call back but finally I called them to find out what was the story. I had to pay more for the "better progressive" lens. I subsequently declined and asked for a refund. I finally received my check and it was lower than what I paid. I called office and was advised they took out the cost of the lenses. Even though the lenses were of no use to me and the first submission to the lab was not correct. Found out they called some other number vs my phone number. Oh well. Will not be back.
