BEWARE of Visionworks frames. The personnel at Visionworks on Kuykendahl have always been polite and helpful. Their selection of frames is quite good, but unfortunately sometimes a frame may be defective. Since this is the first time I have had a problem with a frame from Visionworks, I was unaware of the company policy concerning manufacturer’s defects. If the frame doesn’t fail within 90 days of purchase, the company policy is they will not exchange or repair them. They will, however, sell you a replacement at a discount. Such was the case with the $129.00 Robert Mitchel frames I purchased about 6 months ago. A section of the frame that connects the left earpiece to the lenses is literally pealing away from the section of the frame holding the lenses. So now my left earpiece no longer fits properly, which is quite annoying. After comparing them to an identical frame they had in stock, the store manager said the problem is obviously a manufacturing defect. She apologized but said she couldn’t exchange the frames because Visionworks does not guarantee their frames past 90 days unless both frames and lenses are purchased together. So that seems to indicate that Visionworks doesn’t have much confidence in the frames they sell. So why should we? I have been wearing glasses for decades and still reuse older frames for a second pair. I have never had a frame fail in less than a few years. Manufacturing defects happen. That’s understandable, and it doesn’t mean that all frames like the one bought are bad. And yes, I can pay to have it repaired, but that’s not the point. What bothers me is the apparent lack of concern Visionworks has for their customers as well as the lack of trust they have in their store managers. It is evident in a company policy that does not empower a store manager the freedom to address a legitimate issue brought by a customer. It’s a shame. Exchanging the defective frame for a new one would have been a simple process that would have built positive customer relations. All it would have cost Visionworks is a little time. They could return the defective frames to the manufacturer for a credit. My wife and I began purchasing our frames from Visionworks a few years ago, but I will no longer recommend them. And since I now know how little confidence they have in the frames they sell I doubt we will shop there again.

First time I’ve been here to buy new frames and get my lenses replaced. Somehow my prescription was off when I did my eye appointment so when my new glasses came in I knew immediately that it was wrong and the General Manager, Stephanie, immediately took action on it. She said we would need to wait for my old lenses to come back in to compare the two. She said my prescription might just be too high for me. Once the old lenses came back she took all of the information right back next door to where I had my vision tested and informed the doctor and the girl at the front desk before I even got there. I was seen within 5 minutes of just showing back up, my vision was re-tested and the correct prescription was in my hands. Stephanie was super helpful throughout the entire process. I truly appreciate the kindness and willingness she showed to help me. A little bit of that goes a long way and I feel a lot of people forget that. 5/5 stars & 10/10 recommend!

I leave reviews often, but this experience at Visionworks was completely unacceptable. From the moment I walked in, I was not greeted or acknowledged. There was absolutely no sense of a welcoming environment. The employees seemed more interested in their personal conversations than doing their jobs or helping customers. As someone who values respectful service, I found this level of disregard shocking and unprofessional. No customer should ever feel like an inconvenience just for walking into a business. I truly hope this location re-evaluates how it treats people walking through its doors.

Everyone I talked to was incredibly friendly and helpful. This is probably the only time I can say I enjoyed getting an eye exam and glasses? Dr. Pham and her staff aren't technically part of Visionworks, but they were great as well. The whole experience felt more like going to see friends and the rest just sorta happened, if you understand what I mean.

We have been coming to this location for almost 10 years; since we have insurance that covers my kids glasses at visionworks. The customer service has declined over the years and today was the worst I have received. I just went on to have nose pieces replaced; there was one other gentleman in front of me who needed his glasses adjusted. The lady asked me to leave glasses overnight to replace nosepieces? There was no one else in the store.
