I visited this location last week for an eye examination. The exam itself and the reception were on par with similar service providers, and I had no complaints. I returned today to order my glasses. There was one employee on duty and I was the only customer present. Despite this, she did not offer any assistance. I selected three frames and approached her for guidance, as I have a wide face and know from prior experience that my fit requires careful consideration. Her response was dismissive. She stated that all of the frames were "pretty wide" and that "anyone of them should be fine," without examining my selection or offering any meaningful input. A customer should not have to solicit basic assistance for such a significant purchase. The lack of professionalism and effort was notable, particularly given that no other customers were in the store. I am dissatisfied with how this was handled. From past experience I can confidently tell you that you will get better customer service from a retailer like Target or Costco.

I had a very frustrating experience at this location. After spending time picking out frames and going through the entire process, the employee helping me, Sophie, told me that I could only get blue light filtering or thinner lenses, not both. I’ve worn glasses for years and have always had both, so I specifically asked if she was sure. Sophie told me that was the policy at all Visionworks locations. That information was completely wrong. Instead of checking with a coworker or manager, Sophie confidently gave me incorrect information and was prepared to let me leave without any solution. As a customer, I shouldn’t have to fact-check information given to me by an employee. I ended up calling another Visionworks location, and within minutes they confirmed that I could get both options with no problem. That’s all it would have taken, a quick question to someone who knew the answer. Visionworks needs to do a better job training employees and making it clear that if they don’t know something, they should ask for help instead of giving customers inaccurate information. Sophie wasted my time, and the entire visit ended up being a frustrating and disappointing experience. Don’t come to this location!
Dr. Amini and the staff at VisionWorks in Central Park were terrific. It was a very efficient visit and the folks there even informed me what would be covered by insurance and what wouldn’t be so I knew which services to choose if I wanted them. Dr. Amini identified a tear in my retina because of an add-on retinal imaging service recommended by the front desk folks. He promptly referred me to Colorado Retina Associates who got me in the next day and got my retina tear treated immediately. Can’t thank Dr. Amini enough for being so thorough and kind. I will be going back to this location for my next eye exam. Thanks again!
There is a woman with dark brown hair that works here, she may be the most unfriendly, unhappy woman on earth. Why she works in retail is baffling. She was incredibly annoyed by my presence and need for assistance. In hindsight I should have gone elsewhere else, however I needed glasses. Certainly won't return in the future because of her. The other lady with the wig helped me when it was time to pick up my glasses and she was much more kind and personable. I will add on a post note, the prices here are excellent.
I really wanted to give a score of 5 stars, but I wasn’t greeted upon my arrival with a “good morning”. It was started with “May I help you” in a very condescending manner as if I was an intrusion. The optical technician was also not initially welcoming. After the conclusion of my appointment the environment was a little friendlier, but as they say first impressions are lasting impressions. Fortunately the optometrist was friendly and welcoming. On another note maybe the employees should try to dress a little more professionally which would give a better impression of the business as a whole.
