My medical card was temporarily suspended because I had to provide receipts for just about everything. I won't go into all the details of the countless hoops I've had to jump through to regain access to my funds, but it's been an incredibly frustrating and overwhelming process. Thankfully, when I called Visionworks in Athens, Dani answered the phone and immediately started helping me. She brought in Nicole Brown to assist, who went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get the documentation I needed to access my money again. During a very stressful time, Dani and Nicole showed genuine kindness, patience, and professionalism. What felt like an overwhelming situation became much more manageable because of their willingness to help. They truly brought a sense of peace to my day. Thank you both for your exceptional customer service—you made a real difference, and I am incredibly grateful.

Absolutely love this place. Prompt, courteous, professional, and friendly. Made my appt over the phone through an automated system that was simple and straight forward. Not one complaint. Will recommend highly. (Pssst...my brother-in-law works for Lenscrafters and I gave up my 50% off family discount to go to Visionworks!)
Love this place! My daughter has been going a few years and they have always treated her great! Now my insurance covers there too and I had a wonderful experience! Great customer service!
Been coming to this location for years. They were the only place that took my kids caresource insurance. A sweet young man, Ryan, called me when I scheduled an online appointment to tell me that they were no longer in network with caresource, but they were doing a program for continuation of care for the next few months since it was such short notice. He was very thorough with explaining things to me and, though I was slightly sad to have to find a new provider after this year, I felt the explanation of what was going on was kind and he went above and beyond. Well, fast forward to today. I get a call from a girl that sounded kinda timid explaining that they no longer took caresource and could not service my child. I explained to her what Ryan told me on the phone a few days prior and I hear someone in the background of the call sharply tell the girl “tell her we’re not taking it anymore and that she will have to pay out of pocket if she wants to be seen!” The girl relayed the message and told me that her manager was the one that told her. I asked for the manager’s name and she said it was Nicole. When I asked if I could speak with her, she told me that she was on break, even though I just heard her speaking in the background. I’m very disappointed with how this has turned out and very disturbed to hear how the manager spoke to that associate on the phone. I have VSP for myself, but I will NEVER be returning to this location after experiencing such unprofessional and rude behavior from the manager. I don’t think I was given the wrong information from the kind young man a few days prior. Very disappointed.
Got a contact exam it was some virtual one because they didn't have a doctor in, not sure if this is normal. This made the process far less accurate in my opinion as when I got their sample lenses right afterwards, have not been able to see well out of one of my eyes since and I've been wearing them for 15 years never had this problem. Then the misfitting contact they gave me got stuck behind my eye and I call them for advice for them to tell me (instead of just some advice or trying to help at all really) that they are too busy right now, we will call you when someone is available, and proceeds to tell me it will be 100$ for this assistance, acting like its a bargain. Meanwhile, its 130$ for an exam, more expensive than most (better) places. Every other eye doctor I've been to, would just say come in we'll take care of it, if I had any issues, straight money business not an eye care facility or real doctor. Genuinely, go somewhere else.
