I'm not the type to leave a review, but when I do, it's because the service was ASTOUNDING. This was my first time at Visionworks and I was nervous because in the past it's been a hassle finding places that accept my vision insurance; but Visionworks was everything but that. It was easy to make an appointment and navigate the online registration system. The office itself was incredibly accommodating; I had asked if I could move my appointment up since a previous appointment in the area had ended earlier than anticipated. The person at the front desk kindly moved me up and got me situated quickly. The place was clean, quiet, and the wait time was very short. The doctor was kind and personable, taking the time to answer my questions and explain the changes to my prescription. One of the staff members, Earl, left a wonderful impression—helping ensure the glasses I selected fit my face and explaining the type of frames and lenses my insurance would permit. This was hands down an amazing experience. Everyone at the office was friendly and professional. Will 1000% be coming back and have already referred friends and family to this location!

They said they have to make the call to process the insurance, but they don’t know how long it will take and when they can even initiate the call. So basically, I can either wait indefinitely for them to handle it, or pay out of pocket and file the insurance claim myself. My insurance information had not even been properly collected or copied, yet I was simply told that I would have to wait if I wanted to use my insurance—with no estimate of whether it would take 30 minutes, two hours, or longer. I felt like I wasn’t even being given the option to make an informed decision. The male staff seemed to use polite words, But politeness is not the same as good service. If you advertise that you accept insurance, you should have the staff and system in place to actually process it. If I had known this beforehand, I would have gone somewhere with a much larger frame selection. Using my insurance was one of the main reasons I chose this office in the first place. I was willing to wait—I just needed transparency and a reasonable estimate. Unfortunately, I did not get that, and I would not return.
I was very impressed with the Customer assistant, Mahnaz. She was honest about the fact that she was new and apologized for taking longer than expected. However, she was very thorough and got everything done very well. What I liked the most was her very soothing and calm demeanor and excellent "bedside manner" where I felt calm and relaxed during the whole encounter. I really felt that she cared not only for my needs, but for the store as a whole. I even asked her if she was related to the manager because of how much she wanted to take care of the customers in the store. I really hope that she stays on in this store and is given the opportunity to work with customers a lot more.
I have visited this Visionworks location multiple times in the past for routine eye exams and was always in and out in under 30 minutes, but my recent experience on 8/6 for a 10:40 AM appointment was extremely disappointing. Excessive Waiting Time: I checked in early at 10:20 AM, but was left sitting idle for an hour and twenty minutes. My pre-test/screening didn't even begin until 11:40 AM—a process that normally takes just 5–10 minutes. It appeared the onsite technician did not know the system password and had to spend a long time seeking help from various points of contact, completely wasting my morning. The screening itself finally wrapped up around 12:10 PM. Billing Confusion at Front Desk: To add to the frustration, the front desk representative tried to charge me a $30 copay for a routine wellness exam. When I questioned it, he changed it to $10. He clearly lacked knowledge about standard wellness exam coverages and could not explain the purpose of the fee. Because I had already been there for over two hours and just wanted to leave, I paid the $10 and walked out. Positive Note: Once I actually got past the lengthy delays and made it to the online technician and the doctor, their portion of the appointment was quick, professional, and thorough. Unfortunately, the severe disorganization at the front desk and with the onsite technician made this a frustrating experience. Given how smooth my past visits here have been, I hope management addresses these operational and training issues
This was my previous review "Staff and dr are very attentive and helpful." When the middle hight, short hair Lady meet us. Today we picked up 4 glasses for 2 of us at 3:50 pm, 6.3.2026. There was only one staff tall, long hair. She was ignorent, lazy.To have 2 touches to be done on temple tips we had to wait her finish her office works. After that I asked her kindley to change nose pads of my existing frames, so I can keep in car for spare. She said ," I don't have time for that, you need to come another day".Than I asked if she can simply give me 2 plastic note pads, so I could change myself at home. She said ,"I don't have time for that too." ( Just takes 3 minutes to take them from the drawer and hand out) .So in order to satisfy her majesty, I have go home, one another day, I have leave my work, drive back, walk in, wait, and get it. I spend maybe $10000 at visionworks in many years, and can't get 1$ worth of part of their own model. That is the work place anybody can work anyway they like.
