I’m using this location for many years now. They used to be excellent. While the doctor is still good, the staff hospitality went down downhill in recent years. They tried to over charge me than what’s allowed in my insurance. When I questioned, they got upset and entire tone changed. There was an error in my prescription and they gave me wrong ones three times. The staff neither allowed me to talk to doctor nor conveyed my message correctly. When I expressed my concern, the staff’s response was like I don’t care. She was acting like as if they give the services out for free. Also the contact lens prices almost double when compared to Costco.

The glasses were wrong and took a frustrating almost 2 months to get glasses that I can't use (paid 12.01, picked up 01.26). They are progressives. My 4th pair being my first from Visionworks. I paid for the upgrade to have an extended view for the progression window but they are tiny and I can't use wear them for work at all because they are blurry. I put my monitor as low as it will go and my chair as high as it will go and I still have to lift my chin way up and look down to read a line, with the next line being blurry, if I want to read the next line I have to move my head again. My job is fast pace and I don't have time for this ridiculous amount of struggle. My 1st and 2nd progressive from others were the same way. My 3rd from a different supplier were excellent and also paid for the upgraded progressive Window. Never had these problems. Now I am sorry I paid $280 (bought sunglasses too). I should be able to read a paragraph on the screen without moving my head left right, left, right, up down, up down. Probably just to go back to the $1.25 readers.

Visionworks Novi location is the place to go for eye exams and glasses. Darlana, the manager, and Dr.Chaundry were professional, through and excellent. Darlana helped us select frames and went through all the pricing options and was very friendly and patient. The prices are very good as well. Would not hesitate to recommend them. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The appointment was efficient. Vision Works was well organized. The doctor was excellent. No pressure to purchase anything as my vision was slightly changed.

This place is EXTREMELY understaffed. I understand that it is the end of the year and they are fitting many last minute people in, however, they need to staff accordingly for that. It is ridiculous. I waited for well over an hour (arrived at about 2:15 PM, it was 3:35 PM when I left) to get a printed copy of a prescription, nothing else. It is extremely unacceptable that the owners / management / corporate does not staff more people for a time that they KNOW is going to be super busy. They need to figure out a better system. Dr. Choudhry was amazing for my eye exam a couple of weeks ago, she is extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable, like she is every year. Darlena was also wonderful with helping me with my contact class, and also explained pricing to me very well. They are the only reason I continue to go here, they are both great.
