After having a terrible experience at another location and a different eyewear company, we decided to give this Visionworks in the mall a try. Unfortunately, it was an even worse experience. We were never told beforehand that there is no doctor physically at the location and that the eye exam is done through telehealth. We also weren’t told that there could be a minimum one-hour wait just for the remote doctor to become available. On top of that, there is no real waiting room and no chairs, so you’re basically standing around waiting. There appeared to be only a couple of employees working in the location, with much of the process handled remotely. Between driving through mall traffic, parking, getting inside, and then waiting around with nowhere to sit, you should apparently plan several hours just to get an eye exam. I have never had such a frustrating experience at an eyewear location. This will absolutely be the last Visionworks I visit. I’ll gladly find somewhere else that values my time and communicates clearly about how their appointments actually work. I highly discourage anyone from making the trip to this location. Absolutely ridiculous experience, and I definitely do not recommend it.
