I went to visionworks last year and it was a great experience. This year i decided to go back but at a different location. When I arrived at my appointment the front desk staff was polite. I went to the back and the doctor kept asking if I can see near and I said yes but he kept insisting that at my age I should be having issues with seeing close. But I kept telling him I don’t have that issue, he gives me my prescription and when I got home I noticed I can’t see up close with this prescription. I had to put reading glasses over my contacts to see up close. I go back and tell him this information and he says it’s because of my age and that’s normal. I explained the day I came for my appointment I had contacts in and filled out paperwork with no problem so I know I can see up close. He kept saying it’s my age. I’m 47 I’m not that old, I went to eyeglass world and my problem was solved. I had to spend another 100 dollars for another exam just to get the right prescription.

I've bought glasses all over town but the staff at Vision Works Maryland Pkwy is exceptional. They are all so friendly and helpful. Ashley took care of a problem with each of our glasses w no questions asked- she actually recommended a fixing that I would have bypassed. Great experience!
