First thing is that the parking stalls are really small with the exception of the three in the middle. If you have a big car, park on the street. You may have a hard time squeezing out like I did. Anyways, the staff members were really nice. Accidentally checked in on the wrong floor but they got me sorted haha. I guess the second floor is more of a same day clinic and dental? The third floor is for most providers. My NP and PA were really nice though. Super helpful during the process of getting me set up and establishing my care. They walked me through future labs, blood work, etc. They did discuss some options for my ongoing care which I didn't even now were options. My previous PCP didn't consider them. Stellar research on their end. Mahalo nui!

I came to the clinic weeks ago thinking I had one appointment scheduled, but when I got there turns out no more. I was pretty upset because I took time off and planned my whole day around it. One nice lady Malia helped me out. She was really calm and respectful even though I was frustrated. She explained that the call center is the one who schedules appointments and they not under her supervision. She even said I’m not the only one who complains about them. That already tells me something not right. She mentioned the call center is managed by the new CEO and the first thing that came to my mind was Okay so that’s why nothing improving. It feels like the mistakes just getting covered up instead of fixed. When I asked her how things been since the new CEO came in she just said same politics. So I walked out, I talked to a couple other staff members, they introduced themselves as Irlanda and Alex. I told them I'm one of the board member. They said they don’t know much about the new CEO except her name Mary Beth but their boss told them to be careful around her and she's good friends with management in the business office. I asked how they’re being treated, and they said they recently got a little extra pay, but they laughed and said it might just be a cover up because plenty employees been complaining about the company. It’s not really my business, but I care because my doctor and nurses are here. If the staff not being treated well then patients like me going feel it too. And now it makes sense why my appointment wasn’t scheduled in the first place. I hope Waikiki Health takes these concerns seriously. The frontline workers are doing their best, but the system behind them needs major improvement. I will make sure this is reported in the news and more patients should know about this.

I’m giving 5 stars to Thuy-Linh Nguyen because she did my IUD switch procedure, and I honestly can’t thank her enough. Before we started, she made sure I knew I was in control and could pause whenever I needed. She was so kind, gentle, and comforting — and incredibly professional. She explained every step of the procedure as it was happening, which made a huge difference in helping me feel safe and cared for. Out of the three times I’ve gone through this, this was by far the least painful, even though my body wasn’t making it easy. I truly believe it’s because she handled everything with so much care and compassion. Thank you, Thuy-Linh. I walked away overthinking if I said thank you enough, but I hope she knows how glad I was to have her this time. 💛

I gave it a 5 star rating for it's easy readily accessible clinic so you're in and out in a jiffy unless you need to see your doctor. Even then they keep their appointment time with you. I refer to them as medical professionals on a mission.
