The doctor rushed through my exam so his assistant could take a lunch break on time. He wrote the script for the wrong brand of contacts and I had to drive back to the location twice just to get him to correct the script ( he was not present the first time), just so I could order contacts and wait another week, since they don't stock anything stronger than -4.0. One lady was very curt and unfriendly at first, but she was nicer the second time. Another lady working there was very nice and another had a robotic way about her, like we're just cattle to her. I am not satisfied but at least this place is legitimate and somewhat useful. I would not recommend.

I am writing to share a concerning experience I had at the Northside Lakeland Walmart Optical location recently. While attempting to purchase a new pair of eyeglasses, I felt I was given the "third degree" by a staff member because I had previously returned a pair of glasses to Sam's Club. The eyeglasses were returned because after only a couple weeks of sporadic use, one of the lenses had a scratch. The Walmart associate requested assurance that I would not be returning the glasses I was about to buy from Walmart before proceeding with the sale. Per the Walmart associate, Sam's Club had recorded the return as "customer stated he did not need the eyeglasses", instead of defective-damaged len. I felt that my privacy with Sam Club was compromised. The Walmart associate, instead of helping me, had stereotyped me. I wanted to bring this interaction to you all, as it made for a very uncomfortable customer experience.
I had to go by today to get my glasses adjusted and was greeted by two big how can we help you today smiles!! They took my glasses and cleaned them and made some adjustments and wow I can see now!! Thankyou Iris and Jennifer!
Great staff and prices. Helped me work our challenges with new trifocals! Revised measurements and reordered. I was slouching when I had them take my measurements. Thank you!!🙏
Great staff! Samara helped me with ordering my glasses! Very helpful and friendly. I won’t go anywhere else.
