Walmart Vision Center

Buyer beware. I spent hundreds of dollars here for 2 new prescription frames and lenses plus new lenses for my existing frames. Within 6 months the lenses in the pair I wear most often became cloudy. I had not purchased the expensive protection plans. I was told the problem was due to scratches from improper cleaning. I’ve never had this problem with OTC Readers or any sunglasses. Apparently, Walmart’s optical department uses a polycarbonate lens that is inferior and doesn’t maintain as well as other options for lenses. Had I initially known this I would have shopped elsewhere for glasses. On a positive note, the office staff are extremely nice and helpful. Live and learn and ask questions!

Came in with a much damaged pair of readers. Apparently fell asleep with them and somehow they ended on the floor looking like a twisted piece of modern art. Jon and Curtis patiently and collaboratively fixed them to the point I could use them as they were intended. So 5 out of 5 stars for each. Thank you kindly gentlemen!

Liz and the young man working today( I believe his name was John) were so incredibly kind and helpful. My stepfather had broken his glasses on vacation in Cortez and we couldn't fix them. Liz and her team had them fixed, cleaned and returned to me in a matter of minutes. I highly highly recommend this vision center!!!

I am from Australia and was traveling through Cortez when I accidentally stepped on my glasses and bent them so badly that I couldn’t wear them. I walked into Walmart Vision & Glasses and Wendy fixed them on the spot — she was incredibly kind. Service and expertise like this is rare. If you need help with your glasses, this is absolutely the place to go!
