I had to switch from All about eyes to a new optometrist. A lot of people told me to go to Walmart in Glen carbon to their vision center. I got to tell you I was very pleased. All of the employees are super nice, the doctor was absolutely amazing and very detailed, and all around it was just an amazing experience. Can't recommend this place enough
Dr. Todd is friendly, patient, and explains everything if you have questions. His staff is awesome, too. Lydia makes the pre-exam actually fun. Katrina always goes above and beyond, and she even remembered me from last year. Shawn was really patient walking me through the numbers so I could figure out what to get. Everyone jumps in to help you pick out frames and give honest feedback if you want opinions. Overall, this was the best experience I’ve ever had at an eye exam. I gave 4 stars only because their lab has issues. I had a lense made 3 times with the same defect, so I ended up returning the glasses.
Highly recommend the Walmart vision center in Glen Carbon. Everyone is so friendly and the eye exam was very thorough. Also, there is a great selection of frames. And the pricing is very fair.
My recent experience was truly exceptional! Dr. Wollbrinck is incredibly knowledgeable and engaged, making even complex concepts easy to understand. He takes the time with each patient to ensure they are comfortable with any new information, and leave happy . I have been a patient for several years but had not been in since several new changes were made. Everything was pleasant and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. I worked with Steve, and met several other staff, and they all allowed for personalized attention to ensure I received everything I needed. I highly recommend the Glen Carbon Wal-Mart Vision Center to anyone looking for exceptional care and an all around great experience.
Staff is very friendly. It was easy to schedule appointment online and by phone. You also receive your prescription when you leave making it easy to order glasses or contacts from anywhere. Much friendlier and more efficient than other local chains.
