On May 29th I came in to see if they could help me with my glasses. Mind you I was in town for a wedding. Forgive me but I don't remember the lady who helped me,but I do remember one of the two ladies name, her name was Melinda. Both ladies were very helpful, honest, and polite. They both went above and beyond their services to get my glasses corrected. I received them back by UPS on June 9th,and able to see correctly now. Kuddos to these two wonderful amazing ladies. Thank you for your help time and courtesy.

Several months ago, I walked in with my Mother, (she's 79 yrs old), to help her get her glasses fixed, therefore, she couldn't see. She also has trouble hearing. There was a sign that said to stop and wait for a rep, which she couldn't see, the girl said rudely, for her to stop, which she didn't hear. The girl practically yells at her to stop, says masks are required and blocks her from entering, pointing to the "Do not cross" sign. I'm telling you, I get the whole safety and protocols for COVID-19, but she can't see or hear hardly and she is there because she needed help. The girl told her how much it was going to be, I went to hand her money, but because it wasn't the exact amount, or a card, there was a problem with her register, she said we needed exact change, which we didn't have and she got mad. She just said there's no charge and to just go. The girl was the rudest customer service rep I have ever dealt with. We will never go there again. 👎

So we ordered and a years supply of contacts for my wife. They were backordered about a month which was fine but for some reason walmart canceled the order and never let us know. When we checked in on our order the said we need to reorder them and insisted that we had to pay again and could not refund our original order. By this time the prescription is several months old and they can only get us a 6 month supply. So the contacts finally show up and when they contacted us that they're here they admitted that they already had them in for several weeks. Customer service here isn't just pathetic, it's nonexistent

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I had an exam in spring of 2020, with Dr. Renner (really liked her but she is no longer there). After this appointment I bought a new pair of frames and lenses. The lenses were to have anti-glare and scratch resistant put on them. I received the frames and within a couple of months my left lens had a noticeable scratch on it (this being said, I am very protective with how I treat my glasses). A few weeks later, this scratch was soon taking up a good portion of this lens (almost like how a windshield gets a crack and then starts to spread). With this being said, it really makes me wonder if the scratch resistant was actually applied to these glasses even though I paid for it. I went to this Wal-Mart vision center and was greeted with a very unfriendly associate (older lady with white hair- never have had a good experience with her) and she was uncooperative. So, I left without getting anything accomplished (and this is still within the time period my script was active). Now, the other lens is getting just as bad. I have a new pair of glasses that I can count on one hand how many times I have worn them, that are just now sitting in a case being unused. As of today, I went there again to see if I can get anything accomplished with another associate. I thought I would be in luck (I was willing to repay for new lenses), but since my prescription has now expired (by just little over a month) they wanted me to set up an appointment for another exam and plus pay for the new lenses. Also, keep in mind that COVID was running rampant after purchasing these glasses in 2020 and their vision center was even closed on more than one occasion-so how was I supposed to get anything taken care of when they were closed and I live 30+ miles away. So now I am stuck wearing glasses that I have had since 2012, with lenses that are in far better condition than this new pair. I used to go this location all the time, until I started seeing a more local optometrist; however, he is now retired, so I opted to return to this vision center site. I am very frustrated and will never go back again.

Dr. Mckiver did an eye exam on my mother and did not ask consent before touching her eye lids. When confronted about it he acted indifferent and brushed it off. Even nurses are legally required to ask consent before touching patients.
