Walmart Vision Center serves patients in Lima and the surrounding part of Ohio from its office at 2400 Harding Hwy. Both exams and glasses are handled here — exam rooms and an optical shop share the same address. Listed services include glasses & frames, contact lenses and contact lens fitting. Insurance accepted includes Superior Vision and Spectera (7 plans in total). Care is provided by Mark Berger, OD. It is open 7 days a week, including weekends, with evening hours on weekdays. We had an optical emergency (broken glasses) and new ones a week away. My very nearsighted kid has to drive in the meantime. We've been going to this vision center for years for our kids glasses and always had great service. My girls have received new prescriptions lately so I was online looking up when the vision center was open. I saw that they don't have many reviews and thought that I should share my experience.
After going to the vision center on harding highway for 6 years my insurance changed and they were out of my network, long story short I had a bad experience at another place in Lima and just decided to pay out of pocket at Walmart vision center. They are absolutely wonderful and I can't rave on Keaton enough!! Hes always so pleasant and helpful!! Great job Keaton!!
I had a great experience at WM Vision Center. The lady helping me did a great job multi-tasking among various customers, and still made me feel likie I was the only one there. I got a great two-fer deal (glasses and sunglasses), will certainly come here next time a need arises.
Had a pretty good experience here. My daughter and i both went in for an exam and new glasses and the techs were very nice and made sure we understood everything and did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable and helped. The physician him self was a little short and seemed to have an attitude at times with my daughter . Our glasses and lenses were reasonably priced and came in fast.
