Walmart Vision Center

We had a very disappointing experience at the Walmart Vision Center in North Olmsted. My wife was treated in a way that came across as rude and dismissive. When she needed a little extra time to understand what was being explained, the staff member helping her showed very little patience or customer care. After reading other Google reviews, we noticed that several customers have described very similar experiences. That makes it even more disappointing, because it suggests this may not be an isolated incident. Good customer service means treating every customer with kindness, patience, and respect. I sincerely hope management takes these repeated concerns seriously and works to improve the customer experience, because no one should leave feeling unwelcome after simply trying to buy a pair of glasses.

About 3 weeks ago I brought my glasses in 3 pieces I couldn't believe it the lady fixed them she was very friendly and helpful I just wanted to say thank you and I'll highly recommend your store for anyone that needs glasses

I had such a positive experience. Dr Barkan was so nice, took her time & did a thorough eye exam. Erin made my appointment, helped me order my glasses & took care of me when I picked them up. She couldn't have been any nicer. Oh & my glasses were ready in just 3 days! I will definitely be coming back here in the future. Thank you for all your help.

*Update of the review below. Since leaving my review, I have spoken with the North Olmsted Vision Center manager. Tiffany was very pleasant and kind. She will be issuing a Walmart Gift Card for $75 that I can use toward having my glasses made at another store. I am changing my rating based on her willingness to go above and beyond for me. I really appreciate it. I have also corrected my original review. I never spoke with the manage of this Walmart Vision Center until today. Original review as edited: A poorly informed staff member gave me incorrect information before I chose to have my eye exam at the North Olmsted Walmart Vision Center. Because she answered my questions incorrectly and incompletely, I now have a $75 prescription that I cannot have filled for the glasses I need. If the employee had known how to answer my questions, I would never have made the appointment. Neither of the two staff members at this Walmart Vision Center that I interacted with were willing to try to make a bad experience any better. All they seemed to be good at was saying “no”. The last employee I spoke with did not apologize and refused to take any responsibility, on behalf of the Vision Center, for the error or offer to pass my concerns on to his manager. His deadpan, uncaring attitude added to the problem. The entire experience was beyond frustrating, costly and totally unacceptable.

I went in looking for a reasonable priced frame, I had been to many other places looking. Erin helped me decide on a few I liked. Noone there tried talking me into more expensive lenses or frames. She informed me the glasses would be in 7 to 10 days..got them in 6. I am very happy with the service she provided. The frames and lenses come with a 1 year warranty if they break. I do highly recommend looking here for your eyewear needs.
