The website says they're open till 7:00. And they're closed until October 20th. I'm glad they're refurbishing the store but I wish they would change their hours because I just wasted an hour of my day trying to get glasses that I couldn't get
First off let me say that I am in no way a fan of walmart in general, but the vision center is separate and took my insurance so there I was. I had a GREAT experience today! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. My exam by Dr Olex was very thorough. She was very friendly and professional. Overall it was a very good visit and I highly recommend them for your next exam and glasses!
Completely surprised there aren't more negative reviews for this place. While the older Doctor was OK enough, he may need to retire. There were a lot of things lacking in our family's experience. First, I scheduled exams for both my children. Upon arrival, I was told the smaller one was too young for an exam... couldn't they have told me this at the time I made the appointment? They knew his birthday and age! I could have left him home which would have been a HELL of a lot easier since this is not a kid-friendly place at all. Which brings me to the Dr. For my older son, this was his first exam and he needed glasses. The Dr. never so much as MENTIONED how his exam went! Took him back into the office, took measurements, and later had his assistant hand me the optical script. No discussion with me at all! Not a word. There was no friendly chat, no discussing options of glasses or recommendations. My exam had been the same; not even a 'hello, how are you today?'. I had requested a dilation test since my last exam had yielded a few odd results that I wanted checked. He refused it! He told me I didn't have a second driver so he wouldn't do it. UGH! Completely lacking. I felt we were being treated like lepers and rushed out; not even basic politeness was proffered. I guess what do I expect from a BigBox Corporation???
Was pleased the eye Dr. An older man was a bit old-fashioned in his methods but he didn't get angry with me When I could see some things but not others. He instead quickly realized I needed bifocals it's now a week later and I'm pivk8ng up my new glasses. They only cost 60.00 all paid by my insurance and they are exactly what I wanted . No scratch no glare no lines transitions .
