"I had a very frustrating experience at the vision center inside Walmart. The receptionist was unkind and insisted she had contacted me several times, which never happened. Even if that were the case, there was no need for such rudeness. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone seeking care."

I had a terrible experience at the vision center inside Walmart. The receptionist was extremely rude, claiming she had tried to contact me multiple times when that never happened. Even if she did, there’s no excuse for being openly disrespectful. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Terrible vision center! Cheaply made lenses that cracked on their own. Luckily had the warranty. Replaced 3 times in a yr. Also told me that my frames couldnt be tightened, furthest from the truth! Worst $300 I ever spent! Wont ever return, let alone refer🙄
won't ever go back here again. The first time I got glasses with them was around two years ago and it was great! After two years, I went to another place because I had insurance issues and that place ended up being a nightmare. They had to fix my prescription a couple times so I decided to get the same glasses with the prescription that was corrected at the other place, at Walmart here. And I wasn't happy with how my prescription was. I just wanted to get a full refund since I don't even wear glasses right now. When I went in the first time they told me that I needed my physical receipt for proof of purchase but when I called today which is day 69 which I know is over the 60 day limit, I was told they could just look my prescription up. But since it's too late, I can't get a refund for the lenses. I'm not even using that. I can't use because of the prescription. The place I got my prescription from, I had so many issues and I refused to go back. That was Stanton optical. And this Walmart location, I only reached out today because I actually found the physical receipt and on my paper it's saying 2/18/2025. That's what the lady told me I could go by when I was purchasing the lenses and she gave me the slip. Now I'm hearing different that I can only go by the date that I bought the glasses from. Even though they weren't physically delivered to me to try them out. Won't ever go back to this place for my vision needs. That was completely on Walmart Vision for misinformation and also starting the date from the time that you purchase, even though you don't even have the lenses!
Came here a few days ago and the lady who works there said my insurance didn’t cover polycarbonate lenses. Usually, they call them to make sure what is or isn’t covered but she didn’t even do that. Which I found a little strange. She claimed that anywhere I went my insurance would not cover polycarbonate lenses since it’s the same “across the board”. She did say I could try another place so I did, and I am glad I did. I went to another place and they told me my insurance does cover polycarbonate so I’m unsure why the lady seemed so sure it wasn’t covered. I went to visionworks where they had better options and actually called and worked with my insurance. I paid about the same price there as I would’ve at Walmart but I got more coatings and bells and whistles so to speak. I could be wrong but I have a strange feeling the associate working there did not want to help me since I wasn’t buying frames and only replacing my lenses. She seemed like she really wanted to shoo me out more than anything. Will not be coming back here. Visionworks is way better.
