I've been coming to this location for my eye exams for the last 8 years. I like it because the exams are affordable and they have convenient office hours that work around my busy schedule. I was initially skeptical because this place is inside of a Walmart, but it's just like a typical eye doctor's office (most Walmart Vision Centers are independent practitioners who just lease space at that location). Dr. Nelsen is very knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommended.

Long story short,Walmart mislabeled my left and right contacts that I was wearing for 4 weeks. No wonder my vision was so poor and driving was the worst at night. When I called and told them of their mishap all they did was apologize and say they will put it in their notes. When I asked if they would reimburse me for the months worth of contacts I wasted, their response was, "probably not." I didn't even get a call afterwords. Such poor customer service. Heck, this is probably some form of malpractice. Careful if u got to walmart vision.
The staff at this location is so helpful & kind. I’ve been bringing my kids here for a few years now & have never had a bad experience - from scheduling to check out. The ophthalmologist is very patient and personable - my kid is a new contact lens wearer & he really took his time to ensure she was confident with them.
I have been coming to Walmart optical for 12 years. This location for 5. My vision has remained the same the whole 5 years. (-5.50) So I came in today to purchase more contacts since I put in my last pair and one had a little rip. My glasses might be too weak because they give me a horrible headache. When I came in they told me I had to get an eye exam again. So I asked if they could take me In. They were fully booked and couldn't. I asked if I could buy just one trial contact to replace the bad one till they could get me in. But nope! They said they cant because my yearly visit was up.They sent me home in pain. With my bad contact and scheduled me an appointment to come back. What kind of eye doctor just says hey not my problem. I know you're blind and you need a new contact in that eye, but that's your problem not mine! I'm done with this place! You can cancel my appointment going somewhere else
Used to go to LensCrafters but have switched because I respect and appreciate the eye doctors at this Walmart center. Also terrific source of glasses and contacts products. Social distancing requires they only let limited people in the clinic, but it is worth the extra care.
