I had an excellent experience with the optometrist during my visit. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure my eye exam was thorough and accurate. I really appreciated how clearly everything was explained, including my prescription and what it meant for both glasses and contact lenses. They were patient, kind, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire exam. I never felt rushed, and they were happy to answer all of my questions in a way that was easy to understand. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients’ eye health. Overall, this was one of the best optometry experiences I’ve had, and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing an eye exam or vision care.

The girl that answered the phone at Auburn Walmart Vision & Glasses didn't know if they accepted Care Credit or not. She said I'd have to come inside and buy something to see if it works. I'm looking to get fitted for contacts and I know you have taken Care Credit in the past, but it filled me with frustration when she wouldn't even look out up to confirm or ask someone else about Care Credit and thought I should just come in and buy something just to see if it works. I don't have confidence in the employees there now. I also know some optometrist places will price match contact lens boxes with online retailers and when asked she said Walmart will NOT price match of I wanted to order thru them, so I decided against setting up an appointment today because I didn't like that they won't price match and I didn't like that the employee both didn't help me and left me frustrated. Have a good one and GOOD BYE!
Personally, I had a great experience here. Service was quick and the process easy. Dr. Wood is very nice and explained everything very well! I even got free glasses I didn’t know I qualified for. I left very happy.
I had an appointment here for myself and my daughter. It took 10-15 minutes For them to confirm my insurance. By then they said we had used up one of our appointment slots, so they could only see one of us. When the doctor called me back, he said only one person was allowed in the exam room at a time. My daughter would have to wait somewhere else. For her eye exam he would not allow me in the room. He expected me to leave my 7 year old daughter in a closed room with him… I don’t think so! When I refused to leave her alone, The doctor told me that I had wasted his time and two appointments slots. He gave my paperwork to the employee and told her to shred my paperwork. It would have been nice to know about this policy when I made the appointments…. However it appears they can’t tell you this a head of time bc it’s NOT a Walmart vision policy, just the doctors preference.
Waited 20 minutes past my appointment slot, but that's to be expected. When my name was called, Dr. Craig Mcnamara came out of his office without a mask. When I asked if he was willing to put on a mask he replied, "I really am not." I told him that in that case I would not be able to see him. He then tore up my paperwork. He is unprofessional and can cause real harm to his patients in the middle of a global pandemic. With this said, the rest of the vision center staff is separate from him, all of whom were wearing masks. Quasha, the business manager, went out of her way to make sure I felt valued.
