Walmart Visioncenter

Did not feel like my exam was thorough, was referred out to a specialist, when asked my availability I told vision employee and as she is on the phone with specialist writes down a time and told me thats the latest they do my type of appointment. It was not going to work. I called specialist and asked about this and it was a total lie. They actually see patients 3 hours beyond what I was told. Also called in to reschedule my sons appointment and had availability wrote down to reschedule and every response to said dates were "NOPE" according to who answered the phone they do not schedule more than 1 month ahead. 🤔

Dropped off my disposable camera May 31st 2022 and was told 2 to 3 weeks which I thought was a bit long but I went with it. I waited till June 20th with no phone call so I went in and the employee told me it hasn’t been sent out yet and it’s because fedex forgets about them. I don’t buy that, so he told me it would be sent out the following day and take about two weeks to come back to which I reluctantly accepted. Just now I was curious 06/26/2022 at 1:00pm I called in and spoke to the photo employee who told me it hasn’t been sent out yet and they would be sent out promptly then 3 weeks to get back. Wow I don’t have high expectations for Walmart but I was hoping they weren’t this inept. Don’t get photos done at Walmart, I’ll update this when I find a respectable photo company for developing photos.

Dont schedule an appointment if you have children!! They denied me service because i had my toddler with me, who was strapped in a stroller with a binky, not making a single sound! Extremely disappointed. It’s 2022, not everyone has someone to watch their children. do better.

… do better discrimination against a 6 yo … age limit is ridiculous being 6 doesn’t make their vision 20/20 … they need to be seen to … and for the record this is one of the few places that’s not over an hour away that accepts the insurance we have … so yeah extremely frustrating!

I don’t expect the Walmart vision center to be top notch , so for me it’s been quite well. They aren’t so expensive that I cannot afford them even with my insurance paying for some. I wear my glasses basically 24/7, besides sleeping and shower. They have done me quite good since I’ve been going there. The one last is super nice and even helps picking out glasses :)
