Update.......here again they never sent my sons referral over.......almost 2 weeks after they said they would......If I could give 0 stars I would.......DO NOT RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR CHILD HERE......Dr Mecklenburg was great!!!!!!!! The new eye Dr's are horrible with children......also requested a replacement pair of glasses for my son on a monday..they never sent the request until friday!!! Then it took almost 3 weeks to get them in I had to call and check the progress they never called and told me they were in......... Dr tried to talk me out of sending a referral for pediatric eye Dr in Madison saying there's nothing they can do that's not being done already.......after Dr Mecklenburg had said in his notes if no improvement that he needs to be referred to Madison for further testing.....referral was supposed to be sent back in march......we are mid july and they just did it because i refused to leave the office until i had a copy in my hand......manager will lie to you just to get you off the phone.......this place has significantly gone down hill since Dr Mecklenburg left

I would give 0 stars my kids appointment was at 2:30pm by 4:30pm we had yet to see the doctor. No one could tell us how much longer. Mostly everyone working dosnt seem to know what they were doing. This is clinic has gone down hill really bad since the other eye doc retired. I had other appointments and things to get done somethings i wasn't even able able to do because i sat at the appointment for 2 hours. I ended up walking out i find it extremely disrespectful & poor service that you are that far behind and don't inform anyone how much longer & what's taking so long. And what's worse is reading the comments knowing this wasn't just today. That tells me until you can get everyone working efficiently maybe don't schedule people so close together. Something needs to be changed no one should have to wait 2 hours and more and still not be seen by eye doc. And from the comments it doesn't sound like this eye doc if friendly & i can't comment on that because i have yet to meet him. And maybe never will. I don't know if I'll try this place again or not.

The Wautoma Eye Clinic is outstanding in all respects-professional, inviting, efficient, clean, and excellent ophthalmologic care. The physician (Dr. Eric Tyler) and staff were excellent. I was very impressed being a physician myself. A friend had an acute ophthalmologic concern, walked into their clinic, and within 30 minutes had a battery of appropriate tests, and was consulting with the ophthalmologist. This clinic is how medical clinics should be managed.

Started with our son's glasses broke. Sent him in to have lens popped back in. No repair done, but the ordered new glasses & ran through insurance without our permission. Found out AFTER his next appointment & we were ordering new glasses. That pair took over 2 months to come in. So cheap frame breaks once a week. Trying to stay local I called to schedule an appointment. Waited on hold over 15 minutes and hung up. Too bad the one place in town can't service the town. And the lack of maintenance on the exterior makes them look out of business. Too bad for Wautoma!

The doctor is very unfriendly. I had an appointment scheduled for 330. I called to see if they could get me in any earlier. They said sure come in at 2:30. They didn’t see me until after 4 o’clock. Been waiting almost 3 weeks for Contacts still not in, do not recommend!!
