Have been a patient for years. Great doctors and the eyeglass selection is like a super store. The technician was so honest and helpful in helping me pick the glasses best suited for me.
This is the first time I’ve used Eye Consultants I used the Kanawha City location. It was very convenient to my home. Everyone at the front desk was professional and I was able to fill out all my information on line prior to my visit. That definitely helped to speed up the checkin process. A young lady named Caitlyn (not sure of the spelling of her name) I apologize if I misspelled it. She was very knowledgeable sweet, and personable she walked me through all the procedure prior to seeing the Doctor. The Doctor Abigail Donigian took care of my concerns and was very professional and knowledgeable about the care of my eyes. I will be back next year for my regular check up or any other concerns with my vision Thanks Ladies
I absolutely loved my appointment. Everyone was super nice and informative from check in to check out. The best visit I have ever had with an eye doctor. So thorough with the exam. Staff and doctor were great. I highly recommend them.
My aunt Terri Marling has been a patient with them for over a year they are also the ones that did her cataract surgery . She had a yearly appointment on 6/9/2026 @3:20 we arrived early and when the receptionist asked for her id and insurance card my aunt handed to her and she looked at the insurance card and just said this is not in our network you will have to pay out of pocket for the appointment today. I asked her what happened and tried to explain that she has been coming here with this insurance and they lady offered no more information only to repeat her self saying it’s not in our network. Didn’t offer to assist with anything. Not even a direction to go to someone else NOTHING. We left and I’m trying to find a new place that takes high mark.
Every person I interacted with was so nice and genuinely caring at this office in Kanawha City. I can’t say enough good things about Hunter…he made my experience awesome! I felt cared for from the moment I walked up to the reception desk and that just continued throughout my whole appointment. The receptionist was super sweet & professional, Hunter was amazing at his job, the Dr was so nice and took time to explain everything to me and the Optometrist even came out and helped me pick out frames (that I would never have picked for myself) and I loved them! I’m so happy that I found a new eye doctor’s office that really goes above and beyond expectations! I highly recommend this team to everyone!!!
