Great experience! Dr. Whitlow was very easy to talk to and answered any questions I had professionally. At the same time, we had very comfortable light weighted conversations that made me feel welcomed and appreciated. One thing I always use to determine how much customers really mean to a business is, I go by my middle name, I always quickly mention this fact just to see if it is recognized. If so, it’s just bonus points. Dr. Whitlow immediately referred to me as my middle name when an assistant came to take to look at frames. That, to me, meant more than anything. Excited bout my new glasses in a couple of weeks!! Thank you to Dr. Whitlow and the entire staff who, by the way, are just as beautiful as they are wonderful and pleasant to be around!

Dr. Whitlow and his staff are the best all around! They are friendly, courteous and efficient with their time and always willing to go above and beyond normal customer service. If you are on the fence about finding the right eye doctor for you, trust them with your care. You will thank me for the recommendation!

Amazing place! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and made me feel completely at ease. The office was clean, organized, and very professional. The doctor took the time to thoroughly explain everything during my exam and answered all of my questions without rushing. I really appreciated how attentive and knowledgeable they were—it made a huge difference in my overall experience. The entire process was smooth and efficient, from check-in to checkout. I left feeling confident about my eye health and grateful for such excellent care. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a reliable and caring vision doctor. Definitely a five-star experience!

The doctor that I saw was very kind and I would give him and his kindness five stars. However, because of one staff member in particular the Experience has been horrible. I have never been treated and spoken to in such a condescending way. She was confrontational from the time I walked in this morning. I have had a problem with my glasses since I picked them up and I have made them very aware on numerous occasions by telephone and even before I left the office the first time. I told them there was something not right with them and they insisted that I take and try them. I did exactly that and received a phone call about 2 weeks later asking if my glasses were any better. I explained the same thing that I explained to them on day one the prescription or something about them is not right. The doctor was very kind and gave me another eye exam to which he stated there were other variables that must be a play with the new lenses because my prescription was correct. I agreed. One of the technicians walked over and asked to see my old glasses and the other one asked where that I had purchased them from the last time in which I stated it was in Bowling Green at a precision eye care. They proceeded to call Precision eye care and asked them what type lenses I had in my old glasses. Precision told her what type and then the Whitlow technician came back and said I had ordered the lesser valued lenses for my new pair! Basically telling me it was my mistake. How was I supposed to to know such specific information? They had to call to find out themselves what type I had. At what Point during the ordering process, did she not think to look at my glasses and make the phone call at that time to precision eye care? She did not take the time to help me with details of my order. It was just checking boxes and filling out the order form for her. They never once explained that there were different type levels or “valued lenses” and how it would effect my vision. I told the doctor himself today I didn’t realize so much went into getting the perfect lens. I’m disappointed in such unprofessional attitudes toward a new patient. I am now out $250 out of pocket and use of my insurance benefits for 2026 for my new glasses that I cannot wear and they are wanting to charge me another $274 for the correct comparable lenses that I am use to, to be able to see properly. In my years of eye exams, I have never once had this issue Or any issue for that matter with glasses. It’s worth the drive to BG to Get better customer service when you were paying so much for eyeglasses. *Update: after the doctor was made aware of the situation, the decision was made to replace My glasses at no further cost to me. I am grateful for such a caring doctor and office manager.

Dr. Robert Whitlow is amazing 👏! He is very compassionate about his job and listens to you. I myself have been going for some years now and this has been the only place our children has been for the last 17 years. I trust Dr. Whitlow with my families eyes. I would and do recommend to anyone that is looking for a great local provider 😀
