Dr. Amadian is amazing! Her and her team took such great care of me and all my needs. Shelby was able to help me pick out my glasses and pretested me and she explained everything I needed to know. She made the process very easy and knows what she’s doing. She’s very good at her job! If you need a thorough eye exam and stylish glasses, I definitely recommend Woodley Optometry!

. Just finished my eye exam at Woodley Optometry in Encino, and it was easily one of the best experiences I’ve had in years. The staff was welcoming and professional from the moment I walked in. The doctors were extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made me feel confident about my eye health and vision care. After the exam, picking out new glasses was quick and easy, with a great selection of frames to choose from. If you’re looking for a thorough eye exam, quality eyewear, and a friendly optometry team in the Encino area, I highly recommend Woodley Optometry.

Do not take your business here. The first time I went in, they did a bunch of routine tests since I’d never seen an eye doctor before. They said I failed the field test (visual field machine), asking me to come back in a few months and take it again. I went a second time, did the test for 4 minutes in each eye, and they said I failed again and needed to come back. I went back a third time, doing the test for seven minutes in each eye. This time I passed in one eye, but still failed the other and was asked to come back. I was extremely frustrated and was led to believe there was something wrong with me because “It’s only this or an MRI and we’re not to that point yet.” I decided to get a second opinion through a referral from my primary care. I sent over everything from Woodley and they did a bunch of tests, including the field test. I passed in both eyes. Turns out, there were many guidelines I had to follow when taking the test that Woodley failed to mention. One being if I moved my chin even slightly, we’d have to start over. I don’t know if Woodley just wanted the money from my insurance, but do NOT trust them.
