Wylie Eye Center

I have had the absolute best experience with Wylie Eye Center! Their rates are incredibly affordable, and they accept our insurance, which makes things so easy. Beyond that, their customer service is unmatched. I recently ordered my contacts too late right before going out of town—entirely my fault—and they completely saved the day by giving me an emergency pair to get me through my trip. The doctors and the entire staff are truly amazing and dedicated to their patients. I will never go to a different optometrist!

The whole staff is friendly and helpful and Dr. Royster is very attentive. No review would be complete without a shout out to Sarah and Janice. They're simply wonderful!!!

Made an appointment for a Saturday had a wonderful experience doctor wanted to see me again in a couple weeks I picked this office because they initially told me appointments could be done on Saturday no problem because of my work schedule it’s very very difficult to get off during the week. Well got my frames picked made my appointment and left couple weeks later went back to pick up the glasses and was told I needed to move my appointment to a weekday because I wasn’t supposed to have an exam follow up on a Saturday which was not what I was told I said just cancel it then I’ll have to figure it out a different time The next day an older woman calls me and is extremely rude because she tried to reschedule me and I informed her I needed a Saturday because of my work schedule I guess this upset her not sure why but I had to hang up. Still actively looking for a doctor because the doctor here warned me of my eye pressure and I wanted to buy a second pair of frames.

The search is over—I’ve found my forever eye doctor! Dr. Royster and his staff are truly second to none. From the warm greeting I received the moment I walked in, I knew I was in great hands. Dr. Royster was amazing—he took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, which I really appreciated. The optician I worked with afterward was just as wonderful and made the whole experience seamless. I can’t wait to get my new glasses—I already know they’re going to be perfect!

Wylie Eye Center is absolutely amazing!!! I’d give them more stars if I could! First of all, they have cutest quaint store front in downtown Wylie. I love the location and inside, they have tons of open space, plenty of room to wait and the walls are filled with all of the glasses options. Our appointment time was at 5:30, which is very helpful for working clients. They called us right back -almost no waiting which was so nice. They got started right away on the various preliminary tests for my son. He was pretty wiggly but the eye technician was very patient. We headed back to the exam room and Dr. Anderson came in to greet us. She was great! Very friendly and approachable. Kind to my son and very thorough. We enjoyed chatting and hearing what she had to say and felt like we were in great hands! Then came time to pick out glasses! They had a great selection, an office staff member helped us make the final decision and for us all checked out and taken care of for what I thought was a very reasonable price! They helped keep my younger son entertained with a few little treats too. The whole process was great and I highly recommend them!!!
