Went in to 20/20 for the first time on Oct 10 for an eye exam and new glasses. I had to switch to a location that accepts my insurance being that the location I normally go to doesn’t accept my new insurance. My experience was great. The new male doctor was really friendly and knowledgeable. He escorted me to the room to select my glasses. It didn’t take long to choose since I already know what Im looking for ( ombre frame with wide arms and no words on the glasses. I select the perfect pair ( wish I had taken a picture). I give them to the lady who immediately says “ I’ve been waiting for somebody to pick these”. Even though I thought the comment was odd I didn’t think much of it. Fast forward. I send my daughter to pick up my glasses. When I get them I didn’t pay much attention to them. I finally decided to wear them a few days later and kept telling myself these aren’t the glasses I chose…similar but not the same. My sister who helped me pick them also said those aren’t the same glasses.The ones I received had skinny arms and were square with words on the side. I would never pick glasses with words on the side. I took them back in and the lady insists that’s what I selected but provided no proof. Coincidentally, the material number wasn’t documented on my receipt. I was told that normally it’s written down for you. I was offered to pick new glasses but of course the original ones I chose weren’t there. This was my first and last time going to 20/20 Eyeworld.
