10/10 experience. Was worked in same day. Got glasses same day within 20 minutes. Doctor was so helpful and answered all my questions. Worked with my insurance seamlessly. I’m in healthcare so this quick and efficient visit during a lunch break was just what I needed. Best eye appt experience I’ve ever had. Will be going back to them.

I am writing to formally log a complaint regarding the service I received at your clinic following an eye exam my child and I had with Janice in March. While our experience with Janice was excellent, our subsequent interactions with a staff member named Danielle have been highly unprofessional and unacceptable. When ordering my glasses, I explicitly requested no bifocal lines and asked about paying the difference. Danielle informed me this was not an option. However, when I picked up the glasses, they had the bifocal line, and it was incorrectly positioned, making it impossible for me to see. Due to the initial wait time, I did not have the availability to address it further at that moment. When I recently followed up to request a replacement pair or to have the lenses placed in a frame I brought in, Danielle informed me that it would cost between $400 and $800 because my insurance would not cover it. After leaving, I contacted my insurance provider directly and confirmed that they do cover the replacement. Only after discussing my eligibility back and forth with Danielle did she acknowledge this. But she still insisted that I would only be allowed the same glasses with the bifocal line. The service provided by Danielle was dismissive, biased, and unprofessional. I have already followed up with the Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) regarding this matter. My insurance will cover the replacement glasses, and I still need to return to your clinic to resolve this. However, I request that a different staff member assist me moving forward to ensure the job is handled correctly and professionally. Or should I go somewhere else? If it wasn’t for Janice this post would not get a star. I NEED to SEE is that to much to ask for?
Had a great experience at 414 Eyes! Dr. Fan is an excellent Optometrist and very professional and personable. Danielle helped me understand my insurance benefits and made sure I found a frame that looked good on me. Danielle also helped me navigate the rebate process for my contact lenses. Can’t recommend this office enough. I will be back!
I saw Dr. Janice Fan this morning for an eye exam. I can 't say enough good things about the staff and service at 414eyes. Dr. Fan was fabulous, and gave me a thorough eye exam. I do not yet want to go to "progressive" lenses, so she explained what I could do to improve my vision when working on my computer with my regular glasses (which are for distance) and also the options for prescription reading glasses and contact lenses in the future. Staff there is wonderful as well. I literally was in and out of there within two hours WITH MY NEW GLASSES (and the exam included dilating my pupils). Fabulous pricing and service. I will go back for my contact lenses in the near future.
Service prior to receiving glasses was great but I am giving three stars to the fact that I called few times if glasses were ready for pick up and never received call back. Took 4 months and I went into office and the glasses were ready. Understanding the wait time was 6 weeks for these but due to lack of communication I decided not to return for other services.
