Accent Eye Care & Sports Vision Therapy

When we started, my grade school daughter struggled with vision and her issues were undiagnosed for years, but one day with Dr. Gong changed her future! Her vision issues affected her learning, confidence, and attitude, and our entire family dynamic. We found out she couldn’t consistently see the board and her notebook, so she silently fell behind and hid her homework. After one day with the amazing and kind Dr. Gong in her remarkable facility, my daughter’s issues were identified and explained, and a treatment plan was put into place. Since that day, my daughter’s vision drastically improved, she started her own non-profit, and she graduated high school with a scholarship. As she heads to college in the fall, I am proud of her and so grateful for Dr. Gong and her wonderful staff (especially our original staff contact Karen and our last therapist Hannah). Had a terrible experience here. My 5 year old son was referred here for a vision therapy exam. I have very little faith in the accuracy of their evaluation, because none of the equipment they used actually fit him (even the goggles they used were adult size). Dr. Gong was very short with us with the questions we asked. The billing quote was way different than what I was charged at the end, and the staff acknowledged it, but were uncooperative to seek a resolution.

Went and got my eyes checked and ordered new glasses two weeks ago. Call today to get a status update first off. I was on hold for 20 minutes and then got told that they’re still waiting for their shipment of lenses to come in and then for them to be cut so hopefully I’ll get them by the following Monday if they show up this week that’s insane! I’ve been to Mom and Pop eyeglass places that worked so much faster than this. I definitely will not be back after this experience.

This place has always been great to me! The vision therapy program that they have there is probably one of the best! They know exactly what you need and it's great how much they help
