My experience was fantastic! The office is clean and looks newly renovated. The staff is all around exceptional. The Doctor is kind, patient, and thorough. The examinations are very informative. I like larger frames and was surprised to see they had a nice variety. Selecting my frames was easy! Would highly recommend.

Dr Alford was very thorough and gave me peace of mind with his feedback from my eye appointment. I was extremely grateful to be seen on short notice. Staff was awesome!
Camryn is amazing! She was so patient with my son and myself while searching for the "perfect" pair of glasses. The entire staff made this an amazing visit. :)
If I could give negative stars I would. Walk out paying $268.61 when should have been my copay of $55. Told I needed a certain eye lid cleanser for a condition they claim I have. But when I do research this cleanser will not do anything for that. Only thing that will help is prescription eye drops, but if they do that then they can't make money off of a over the counter cleanser charging twice as much as I could get it else where for. Only went here because primary care recommended, but I will be talking to her about the shady practices happening. Will not be returning and will not recommend to anyone.
All the staff were very nice. There was a test they wanted to charge for but when I said I didn't want it since my insurance didn't cover it(I do have good eye insurance and I've never had to pay for this at other facilities) they told me it was a of standard care. I said I wouldn't pay for it, so they waived the fee. Thought that was nice of them. After the exam, a girl brought me straight to get glasses- not to check out and didn't ask if I was eligible on my insurance(great sales technique). So I told her I was in-between years for frames/lenses for my insurance. Still wanted to show me stuff as they said I NEEDED prescription sunglasses, along with needing transition lenses(I have both currently). I've always been offered these but never told necessity, and she wanted to start quoting me and although nice, I stared to feel like I was at a car dealership that wouldn't let me leave. I did ask to see a pair then told her I may just come back with a pair of my outdated prescription sunglasses. She noted the ones I looked at in my chart, then gave me what she said the doctor and I went over. I looked and didn't see my prescription. So I asked for my prescription which wasn't printed out. She then started into how I could go somewhere else but it wouldn't be as accurate but I gently stopped her and said "you are required by law to give me my prescription". That is true if you didnt know. A facility cannot hold your prescription hostage to purchase from them. She also told me they did have a saver plan if it was a cost factor. A friend of mine went and didn't purchase there and said she was never told about the saver plan nor asked a price range. Price wasnt a factor for me, they just didn't have any I liked and since its not my year for glasses(my insurance covers every other year and it wasnt a big change), will wait until next year. I'll most likely be going back to my place in Baton Rouge next year where it doesn't feel like a sales hostage situation. Although I do work in sales, and they did a great job. They also do charge a fee if you use a credit card, which wasn't mentioned and I didn't catch it until I got home. I didn't see the credit card surcharge posted where I was taken and checked out.
