Here’s a polished 5-star review you can post: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience at Advance Eye Care of Texas. The doctors are extremely detailed, thorough, and very knowledgeable. They even recommended I see a specialist to further evaluate a separate eye concern. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure all of my questions were answered.

Price switching... Called and made and appointment for my husband's contact exam. I advised we do not have insurance and asked what the cost would be for the exam. The lady who answered the phone said it would be $130.00. When we arrived for the appointment, they ran the initial tests on my husband. Then while we were waiting for the doctor, the lady at the front desk advised there was an additional fee of $120.00 for the "contact" exam. I reminded her that I was quoted $130.00. I also reminded her that we do not have eye care insurance. She blamed me (the customer) for not asking the right questions when I called. We left before seeing the doctor. $250.00 for a standard contact exam???? Talk about price switching at the last minute!
