The Doctor is good and quite knowledgeable; the staff is OK but often highly unresponsive. Do not expect to walk out with a new contacts prescription & contacts without spending $500+. They try to hard sell you on buying contacts from them which range from $400 - $800 / year for soft daily wear. They also billed my insurance when they said they would not AND even after I asked them not to because I paid them all cash up front. This put a 2 year delay on me getting a new covered eye exam with my insurance. Because my insurance co surprisingly paid them. I later found out this fact & requested a $93 refund check from Advanced Eyecare due to overpayment, and it's been 1+ years and they have never reimbursed me. Also, if you lose your prescription they require you to pay them $40 for a replacement prescription ... which they typically won't give you unless you come back in for a new re-exam, so they can double charge you more. They go out of their way to nickel and dime you to death. GOOD: they do offer an eye exam without dilation for an extra $40, which is great and I paid for that bonus. CONCLUSION: I will never go back to them and would never recommend going there to my family or friends.
