Dr. Sanjai Jalaj is a thorough and competent doctor and eye surgeon. I went to two other doctors about my need for a partial cornea replacement (DMEK). The first was passive and did not instill any confidence in me. The second gave me wrong information about the procedure and location and postponed twice. The additional services kept adding up as well from the surgical center (I was first told the surgery would be in a hospital and I was also told that my Medicare would cover that part). My out of pocket cost would have been thousands of dollars. I cancelled my surgery and was told to call back when I have money! Dr. Jalaj and his team walked me through every step of the process and procedure and assured me that a laser procedure was not the only option. Saved $$$. Affiliated Eye Surgeons have several locations and the staff are all AWESOME. My surgery was perfect! Dr. Jalaj has been open to all questions I’ve had and is never in a rush.
