Aiken Eye Care

We made appointments for our entire family in January 2026 and were told first available would be in July. We were (are) looking for an eye doctor not apart of a chain so were willing to wait. We got a call today (6/19)saying the doctor can’t see us in July and the next available would be January 2027. Not willing to risk waiting an entire year to get another call in December saying July 2027. We cannot go over a year waiting to see if we might be able to get in.

I called as a first time patient with the intent of getting a Friday appointment (since it's my weekday off) as soon as possible. The woman who assisted me said a date that was 5 months out that I had registered (in my mind) as as date next week. I was elated to make the appointment and we went through the new patient registration process til the end when she restated the date and I realized my mistake. I apologized and said I can't keep that date and she scoffed and rudely hung up. It was a shame bc I was willing to give in on my Friday requirement since I needed something sooner, but she apparently felt I wasted her time that she abruptly hung up in the middle of my apology. I will instead go with someone else as she has chased me away. This happened less than an hour ago.

I’ve seen the rest and now the Best in Aiken. Best eye care center ever! Staff is very welcoming, friendly, and helpful from the time I open the door to leaving the practice. Dr. Roberts was friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. The entire visit was enjoyable and informative. Whenever I call the office I still get the feeling of importance. Dr. Roberts and her staff have created such a comfortable atmosphere and incredible experience that I can’t imagine ever seeing anyone else for my eye care.

Dr. Lori and staff were amazing on my first visit! I was in and out in about 30 minutes and Dr. Lori was very thorough!

I had the most amazing experience here from start to finish. Initially when I was making my appointment, the staff members I was talking to were so nice. Then when my appointment came, everyone I spoke with was so helpful. I also can't say enough good things about Dr Lori! She was SO kind and attentive and seemed to genuinely want to help me. I am grateful to have found this office!
