Alpine Eye Care

Dr Kevin Lodewyk is a remarkable doctor and man! I am so very happy that fate put me in his expert care! Last year, he restored my vision--in both eyes--when he performed cataract surgeries; my vision is 100% better. During the summer of 2025, I mentioned to him about all the black floaters--which I've had for over 20 years--and he said he could rectify the situation. This morning, he performed laser eye surgery to get rid of scar tissue in my right eye. I will be seeing him again--in the Gaylord office--where he's going to use a high-power laser to finally rid me of all the remaining floaters in my right eye. Dr Kevin Lodewyk is extremely personable, warm and very caring. He always has a bright smile and greets me with a firm handshake. He always inquires how I am doing. He genuinely cares not only about my health but also me as a human being. He is definitely one in a million!!! Oh, and one final comment--he wears the most awesome bow ties! And socks too! I was referred to Dr Lodewyk by my eye Dr. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Dr Lodewyk is very thorough and caring, He's happy and always has a smile on his face. I had a big “floater” in my eye which interfered with my eye sight for several.years. It was like an asteroid blocking out the sun. Dr. Habryl blasted it apart. It was like having a cataract removed. I see so much better and my eye lid doesn’t droop anymore. I’m so glad I had this done. Also, it didn’t hurt a bit!!! Thank you so much to you and your staff

My daughter broke her glasses over Thanksgiving weekend. We knew the warranty was void since we had to superglue them to get her by the long weekend. On Monday I called and spoke to Chelsea, she informed me that Connie was on the phone and she'll have her call me right back. She called me back within minutes and helped me narrow down which pair of glasses were broken. I figured she would have to order a new set of frames but she said I have a pair here and I could come in and purchase them. I got there during her lunch and she still made the time to switch the lenses and get my daughter on her way. Thank you Connie & Chelsea for your help on this~ XOXO

Dr Kevin Lodewyk is a wonderful eye surgeon! He's a very compassionate doctor who truly cares about his patients. He's a very detailed doctor and answers all questions thoroughly. I'm thrilled with the outcome of my right-eye cataract surgery. I very much look forward to my next left-eye cataract surgery on April 23rd.
