I would highly recommend Alvernon Optical and Dr Sharon Peterson. The staff and Dr Peterson were friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. I got a great eye examination and will be back next year. Keeping my eyes healthy is important to me.

Mary Silverman went above and beyond helping my husband find frames that fit his face (he has a narrow face and a short Pupil Distance. Short of using a child’s frame, she was able to quickly find at least a dozen frames that would fit his face and offered an unbiased, honest opinion about what suited him best. He was happy with the final selection and she was very patient with us throughout the whole process. Great customer service!

Everyone is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Peterson is an absolute joy, and I love having her as my optometrist. I enjoy my visits so much every year that I pick out a new pair of frames every time. Ian has also been great at helping me pick out what frames best suit my face and match my style. Booking an appointment is easy, and most paperwork is done on a tablet. Although they don't have a huge selection of glasses frames, I've never had an issue of finding one I didn't like.

Having recently relocated to Tucson I was due for my yearly optical examination and opted for Alvernon Optical. I found staff to be friendly, helpful and professional throughout the process of scheduling an appointment through choosing a pair of prescription sunglasses.
