I buy my glasses on Zenni, Payne, eyebuydirect, and I thought going in to a store and having a full experience and being able to pick out a frame try it on and have the whole kitten caboodle would be a nice change. The exam was ok, but the preexam made me a little wary, the lady was fine, but she had a young man with her that said he was being punished and just had to watch. Kinda weird. The eye doctor was nice. Unlike in Texas where they have them via monitor Webcam they actually have physical doctors, which is nice. Exam went great. The new young man I got to visit with to pick out my glasses and make my lens choices had black finger nails but was amazing! He was super kind and patient. The prices are outrageous compared to online options. But I really found ones I liked so I paid it. I did not get called about my glasses being ready so I finally called and the said they had them. I went in to pick up the first pair and it was awkward but fine. I loved the Vera Bradleys. Second pair is where it all went wrong. I didn't get notified again. I went in the next day after receiving an automated text message at 7:04pm after they closed. I got them. Took them home and realized I didn't like them. First I wanted to suck it up and just cancel the warranty on them since I didn't like them. They gave me a hard time by phone. Called 800# they said you can come back and we will do it. Next. That night realized I might like them better with different lenses. Went in about an hour before closing. Walked in and was met with such coldness. I was trying to be friendly the manager of the store Brandi just started typing on her computer and said we will call you when they come in and sent me on my way within 3 minutes. I realized now that I changed from tinted to clear later that night I really should of asked for antiglare. Woke up the next morning and called and was met with such coldness again. Told me we only do one courtesy replacement if you want to change them you have to pay another $55. It boggles my mind that I wasn't offered options or a chance to change them. So I just said I'll bring both pairs back for a full refund. I walked in shortly after opening and returned everything. Brandi helped me as quickly and efficiently as possible. They seemed more interested in not having customers than having them. In my mind I expected the same service I received when I ordered them the first time. But in reality if you have a question or a change to make the atmosphere changes. Also the desk mirrors are ridiculously small. They no longer have the desk mats showing you price and options. Everything is on a very hard to navigate tablet showing no prices. The website is also terrible. They don't show options and measurements of the frames width from end to end. The prices were enough for me to not try this again. But the customer experience after the fact changed my heart entirely. Really sad too because I loved my Vera Bradleys :( and they aren't available anywhere else.

I went to this store in 2024 and didn't have the greatest experience but my partner and I decided to try our luck again this weekend as we both needwd new glasses and once again the experience here was honestly terrible. Our sales rep was fantastic she knew what she was doing and was very knowledgeable and helpful. However the experience took incredibly long because I am assuming it was multiple managers monitoring the entire process and making sure the sales rep tried to upsell us at every turn. Even the manager tried to get involved when we said we were not interested in your overpriced stuff. Okay no one confirmed with us if we wanted a contact screening (I asked myself) while getting the screening so I got contact prescription, my girlfriend didn't mention it because we told them multiple times when creating the appt we wanted contacts too. She didn't get a prescription... and now needs another appt. Two years ago I went to this location and had a very similar experience but worse, I bought 6 months of contacts and was told to come pick them up when I paid for shipping to my house. I live over and hour away and was never able to get them. They didn't want to ship them to me and I was hoping they would make it right on our visit to the store this this weekend as everything is computer. They never mentioned it. Never made it right. Over 100$ down the drain! For a mistake I didn't make. Thanks that's definitely Americas best! Micro manager needs to let her sales rep work. Maybe lower the prices if numbers are bad? Wish I could remember the name of our sales rep she was incredibly helpful and our bad experience had no reflection on her at all. Also maybe the managers should focus on professionalism and holstering a better atmospheres instead of constant upselling. You could feel the tension. Still feel like you guys owe me me some contacts but I digress. Would not recommend out of 10 Thanks!

Dr. Lopez was one of the best eye doctors I’ve ever seen. She really cares and does a thorough exam. The facility is very clean and organized and efficiently run. Kennedy at the front desk got me in the same day when I called. She was so friendly and helpful. Brandii was also very sweet and did such a great job assisting me in choosing frames that would best fit my face. Jordan that did my initial exam was very friendly too. All the staff was wonderful and greeted me with a smile and truly take pride in their job. All of them were very professional and provided such a wonderful experience for me as a new patient. Thank you!

After reading some negative reviews, I was a little skeptical. My son used America’s best and was very satisfied. He said the exam was very thorough and everyone was professional, so I decided to make an appointment and take advantage of the two pair plus basic exam deal. I am very satisfied. Everyone was professional and courteous. They didn’t try to upsell eyewear. However, if you’re not aware, there are additional tests besides the basic “refraction” eyeglass exam. So you need to be diligent as they do the exam to ask “ is this part or test included in the basic cost?” Those extra tests will make the cost much higher however you can refuse them. If you have health insurance, those other exams may be covered by an ophthalmologist visit. America’s best did not try to push them if you refuse. At least that was my experience. There was an ample selection of included eyewear. It took about two weeks to get the glasses. I think that’s average. But if you need same-day glasses, you may have to go someplace else. The frames seem sturdy but time will tell. I had a very positive experience and I’m very happy with my glasses.

Dr Lopez made this process for my son’s first eye exam EFFORTLESS. She was very professional, as was Lee and the kind young lady at the front desk. Extremely pleased
